Glow Happy Scents! Review

I have some amazing products to show you all today, which in fact smell amazing! We will be taking a closer look at an Etsy shop called Glow Happy Scents. This is a shop that make soy candles, and wax melts. I am super excited to get started with this review! I was sent three products to review for all of you today. Two products are individual wax melts, and the third product is a pack of melts.

 

The first product I am going to share with you is an individual wax melt. This is in the scent Salted Caramel, and this is truly one of my all time favorite scents of all times. I had very high expectations for this scents. This shop truly went above and beyond with this one. I was impressed with how much fragrance was packed into one wax tart. I was blown away how powerful these are (in a good way) I placed one in my Scentsy and I instantly could smell this through out my house. Not only did this scent smell amazing but look how gorgeous it is as well. It is a gorgeous yellow color and inside the wax it is packed with glitter which I love. I have never had any wax tarts with glitter before so this was a real treat for me sense I am totally obsessed with glitter as well lol.

Next up we have another individual wax tart, and this one is in the scent Berry Flirt Type. I was instantly excited to smell this one was well just because I am a huge fan of berry scents. Let me just say this smells delicious. I didn't think this one was as powerful in fragrance as the salted caramel but it still smelt awesome. I loved the scent of this, it smelt very clean and super relaxing. I used this in my bedroom and thought it was perfect for that space. I loved smelling it each day when I came home from work.  As far as looks go for this one, I must say I like this one a little bit better and I can only guess you all know why.... It's pink of course lol, and just like the salted caramel this one is filled with glitter too. This one looks very princess like :)

Incase you are wondering about the size of these I decided to include a side view image and as you can see these are pretty big melts. The exact measurements are  2 1/4 inches in diameter, 3/4 inch tall and weigh just under an ounce. You can definitely get a few days worth out of each one of these. I have currently been using each one for around 3 days each now and they both are still going strong. I think these are a really great deal if you are in the market for some new scents.

 

The next product I have to share with you all, which is the last product as well is a pack of  these wax cubes. These come in a very similar package to those that I get through the company Scentsy, which I'm sure most of you are familiar with as well. The scent that she sent to me try out is Fruity Pebbles. Right when I seen this I got super excited just because this is one my all time favorite cereals and the scent of the actual cereal was one my favorite things about it as well lol.

 The scent for these wax cubes is pretty spot on. It smells just like the real thing which is amazing. Just with one sniff and my mouth was watering like crazy lol. I was super amazed with how good this really smelt, and how strong the fragrance was as well. I think out of all the scents that she sent me to try out this is the one that is the packed with the most scent which is great because this one if my favorite lol. I used this in my living room and was amazed with how much this filled up my house with the scent. I had a few guests over when I was testing this wax out and everyone said it smelt really good and it smelt like I was cooking something!

If you are unfamiliar with this type of packaging of wax tarts I will explain. Pretty much there are 6 pieces of wax here and you simply just break them off and then place one in your warmer then you are good to go. You could always add more then just one cube of wax if you have a bigger warmer, but as far as the scent goes you really only need one cube. The color of this one is beautiful as well. The base of this wax is white and instead of just leaving it plain. Some color were added to the top to give it some pizzaz. I love the swirls or pink, yellow and blue in this wax. It really is the perfect color to go with the fruity pebble scent.

 

I highly recommend checking out this shop. It is packed with so many amazing scents. I am super impressed with the three that I received. These are also the most beautiful wax tarts I have received as well!

Walter & Rosie Candle Co! Review

I have a review on some wax tarts today! These are not like any other wax I have reviewed here on my blog before. These are super special and really hit home when I stumbled across these on the internet. The name of this shop is called Walter and Rosie Candle Co and they make a wide range of wax that are Disney inspired! Yep that's right Disney Wax. If you are Disney obsessed like me then these are a must, especially when your away from Disney I know it gets hard and these make it a little bit more manageable lol.

 

I was sent three different wax tarts to try out and I am so thrilled to share these with you! The scents I received are Citrus Swirl, Polynesian and Main Street Confectionary. Is your mouth watering yet? Because mine is lol. These are packaged just like any other wax tarts you find pretty much anywhere. Each package contains 6 cubes of wax. You simply break off one piece of wax and place into your warmer and then you are good to go! Let's get a close look at each on these scents and see how amazing they are I am so excited to see what these smell like!

 

Up first we have Citrus Swirl. This automatically makes me want a Dole Whip from Disney lol. I could smell this one over the two other as soon as I opened my mail. I didn't even have to open the wax itself before getting a whiff of this. Let me just tell you this smells amazing! It smells just like a creamsicle. I'm not a huge fan of Citrus stuff, but I easily make an exception with this lol. I cant get over how good this smells!

 

The description of this scent is:

"On your next "adventure" don't forget to grab a sweet treat from the orange bird filled with touches of orange citrus and vanilla."

 

Up next we have Polynesian which I was unsure how this one was going to smell. I really like this one too! It smells really fruity which is another one of my favorite scents. This is a really relaxing scent and reminds me of the beach. It is super relaxing! I really love this scent as well. I think this is going to be my go to scent over the summer!

 

The description for this scent is:

"Aloha with a touch of sweet melon, raspberry nectar, Italian lemon and creamy coconut."

 

 

The last wax tart I have to share with you all is called Main Street Confectionary. This is the one I wanted to try the most, considering this is my favorite place in Disney and I love the smell of that place. Let me just say Oh my goodness! Sugar overload. This smells soooo good it's not even funny. It is sooo sweet and smells just like candy which is huge hit for me. If you like sweet scents then this is the scent for you!

 

The description for this scent is:

"Everyone’s favorite summer time treat, this candy-like scent with touches of sweet vanilla and orange will leave you wishing you were in line grabbing a bag right now."

 

My final thought on these wax tarts is over the roof! These are by far the most amazing smelling tarts I have ever tried. The scents are super powerful in the packaging and in the warmers as well. The Citrus Swirl filled my entire home with this scent and I can't get over how powerful these truly are. The fact that these are Disney just makes these even more special. I love these and I highly recommend checking them out.

Scentsy! Review!

Today I have a review for all of you that I am super excited about! I have a review of a company by the name of Scentsy. I'm sure most of you have heard of this company before. They are known for making things wonderful, and I' d say over the past few years this company has really grown in size and the amount of products that they sell. Today I will be representing Sara Perry.

 

 

I was sooo excited to see that she sent me a warmer! This is one of there smaller warmers that is used as night light. For the longest time I have wanted to try one of these products out and now I have my very own! For those of you who have no idea what this is I will explain! Pretty much this is a called a flameless candle. You simply plug this into an outlet and turn it on and it the light bulb inside the warmer heats up the tray where you put the wax. It then melts the wax and BOOM amazing smelling space! This is perfect for people has have asthma and cant deal with the fumes of a regular candle. These are so much easier to use then your normal candle.

Inside the box this came in 3 different pieces. It was super easy to put together. The glass wax holder was on piece, the light bulb was one piece and then the actual plug was the third piece.

 

Here's a close up of the glass. I am truly in love with this one. I think she did an amazing job at picking something out that I would like. This is really gorgeous and I love the texture that was added on to the glass it almost reminds me of a turtle shell. I love the dark purple color this is super versatile and could go with a wide range of home décor. I do have to say this is pretty heavy. You can just tell by feeling how much weighs, that this is a great piece. This is super high quality and I am so excited to try it out!

 

I think my favorite feature of this warmer has to be the little switch to turn it on and off. I think this is perfect for people like myself who aren't always home a lot. It's super easy to turn on and off when your in a hurry. This really will save you some time in that aspect because you wont have to unplug it and all of that jazz!

 

 

Here's a close up of the light bulb that is used for these small warmers. I do have to say finding these anywhere would probably be a pain in the butt, but have no free Scentsy sells these too and there pretty cheap as well. I have to say from experience though, my other warmer which I have had for a pretty long time I have never replaced the bulb yet. So these will last you a while so you don't need to worry about that.

 

I placed this warmer in my bathroom and let me just tell you I was impressed! I honestly knew that I would be anyways lol. I have never tried a Scentsy product that I didn't like lol. As far as warmers go I have only had the chance to use a full size one, this one I use in my bedroom. I have has that one for quite some time now. I have been meaning to try one of these smaller ones out for quite some time now. I do have to say that this little guy is pretty powerful. I thought because this was a smaller warmer that it probably wouldn't have the same effect, but nope I was wrong. If I had this in my bedroom and replaced it with my full size warmer I probably wouldn't even know the difference. I am beyond impressed. This is the perfect product for smaller spaces, or this would be great for people who have pets or small kids and want this to be up and away and not just sitting on a countertop.

 

She also went as far as including some of these little jars of samples of some scents that Scentsy offers! I was super excited to see that she threw some of these into the package. This helped me get a feel for some of the scents and see what I liked and what I didn't. I do have to say that there was barely any that I didn't like lol.

 

She also sent me one pack of bars to try. The scent that she included is called Pear Blossom and Cucumber. I do have to say from the name of it, I didn't think I was going to like it all that much. I was wrong that is for sure. I have to say after smelling and using this scent this is now one of my favorite ones I have ever tried. It smells really fresh and clean, it really isn't over powering at all. It's pretty refreshing actually.

For those of you who aren't familiar with these packs of wax, here is a photo of the back as you can see this is split into 8 smaller pieces. You simply break them apart and place them into your warmer. You really only need one for most warmers, but you can also mix and match wax cubes which I have done in the past. I wouldn't recommend this for smaller warmers though, but this is great for the bigger ones. One cube will truly last you a really long time. and once you don't smell it anymore, you need to do is replace the wax. It is super easy.

 

I'd have to say as final thought I am in love with Scentsy! I love all these products and would high recommend all of these! Today for a review I have a few candle type products from an online store by the name of SummersCandles.com

The first type of product that was sent to me to review are some wax melts. These are just sample versions of the packs of these that she sells. I love these, just because this gives you a feel for the scent before buying a pack of it which is cool. As far as scents go she did an amazing job at including a good combination of all types of scents.

Birthday cake- this scent is always one of my favorites. I found this scent to be amazing, it's very sweet and smells really yummy

Cucumber Melon- Also another one of my all time favorites, it's super fruity and I thought the scent in this one was really nice, it was a bit strong but wasn't too much either. It was perfect.

Old World Christmas- This one has the perfect name in my opinion. When I smelt this one I instantly thought about Christmas.

Balsam Fir- This smells amazing!! It smells just like a Christmas Tree

I used these samples in my Scentsy and I loved them! They melted really nicely and smelt up my entire living room space. I did find that some of these were more powerful in scent then others, which was fine because sometime you don't want something as strong in your house and other times you do. I found that the Birthday cake one wasn't so strong and didn't last as long. I did love this scent the most though! Balsam Fir I found to be pretty strong, I left this in my Scentsy for about a week and was super surprised with how well the scent lasted. This one smelt up my entire house which was awesome.

I was really impressed with these. The price for a pack of these only costs regularlly $2.50 but right now on her site they are only $1.99! You really cant beat the price of these. I'm sure you would fall in love with these just like I did.

Next up we have some votive candles to review.

Bayberry- This had a sweet smell but also had a woodsy scent to it.

Pineapple Sage- In my opinion I was just able to smell the pineapple and that is it. I'm not complaining though! I really love pineapple!

Harvest Gathering- Smelt like cinnamon. This had a really "Home-y" feel to it

Pineapple Coconut- This one smelt amazing. I'm not even going to lie this is the first product I used out of this entire review and I loved it!

I actually enjoyed these candles. I don't typically go for votive candles, just because I usually use my Scentsy or I like to burn bigger candles. I found these perfect for the bathroom. I actually enjoyed these around my bathtub. These are the perfect size. I'm glad I tried something new and was able to really enjoy these!

The next type of product I have to review is candles that are in tins! These are adorable and I really liked the packaging for these, very simple but yet very cute as well! This one is a little smaller then the other two I have in the same type of packaging. The scent of this one is Christmas trees, and let me just tell you this is spot on! It smells just like a Christmas tree! This candle really makes me miss Christmas time. I do like this candle I find it to be very refreshing and clean smelling. The fragrance for this one was super powerful as well. I am being completely honest when I say that this candle smelt up my entire house! I was pretty amazed with this.

 

 

Next up we have Strawberries and Cream, and this one is amazing as well. This candle instantly made my mouth water and made me extremely hungry lol. Food and Fruit scented candles are my all time favorite, so I was super excited to see this in the box. I haven't lit this one yet, but I'm sure this will be amazing just like the others.

 

 

Jamaican Island is the last candle I have to review from SummersCandles. Now this one is something I don't normally go for. This smelt like a floral candle, which is usually not my favorite scents but I gave it a try. I lit this in my bathroom and I actually enjoyed it. It smelt pretty good. I wasn't super impressed with the scent of this one, but I did like it.

 

.....Just kidding I have one last candle to review for you all and this one is probably my favorite as far as looks go. If you can see from the image below this candle looks like a little cupcake and it's super adorable. I love how cute this one is! This one wasn't labeled with what scent it is, but I am just going to guess that it's a peppermint scented candle. I don't think I will ever light this one, just because of how cute it is lol. I think this one makes great décor as well!

 

I'd have to say these candles are amazing. All of the scents I received are amazing. I cant get over the range of scents that this shop offers, along with the variety of candle types there are to choose from. The prices are extremely low and the quality is pretty top notch. I suggest checking this shop out for yourself. I know you wont be disappointed.

I received two different candle products from a shop on etsy by the name of CandlesByAmanda228

The first product is some wax melts in the scent  salted caramel latte. I am in love with food scents so this is absolutely perfect lol. I could smell these through the plastic container before I even opened them up.

Inside the package is 6 squares that you break apart an put into your warmer. Personally, I only needed one. I have a Scentsy and one was the perfect amount. I think if you might use more then one the scent might be too over powering. These melted really nicely and worked amazing. I used one cube, and left my Scentsy on for a few days, and it still smelt amazing. This is ascent that will certainly smell up a house rather quickly. I loved this smell in my home I thought it was very warm and welcoming.

The packaging for these wax melts are just like those for the Scentsy, or ones you will find anywhere. I found the packaging really helpful. They are easy to break apart and they store really easily sense they hardly take up any space.

Next we have a candle, in the scent cotton candy! I almost freaked out when I seen she had the scent cotton candy lol. It's one of my all time favorites and it is so hard to find, so when I seen she had this I just had to have it lol. This is one of her tin candles that is six ounces. I instantly thought of my childhood as soon as I opened this and took a sniff! If anyone remembers those cotton candy body sprays from back in the day, this smelt identical to it. If you think I'm crazy and have no idea what I'm talking about then lol this smells just like cotton candy, its super sweet smelling and smells just like real cotton candy. It smells delicious.

The wax for this one is a light blue color which is perfect for the cotton candy theme. I really do love how she chose this color it is is perfect. I did in fact use this candle a few times. I didn't find this candle to be super potent in scent, but then again i just think its just the scent. This fragrance is on the softer side, and is'nt so strong. I still found this candle to be pretty amazing and relaxing as well.

Overall these wax melt and candles are amazing, she did an amazing job at creating them. I am pretty impressed and loved the scents that I was able to try.

These would make perfect gifts for pretty much anyone.

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: To Be able to open my own store one day !!!

 

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: To be able to expand and be more creative and come up with new ideas that brings in more customers that want to buy my candles vs. going to retail stores.

 

What is something you want your future customers to kno about your shop: All of our candles burn 50% cleaner with less soot, burn evenly and cleaner and release no CO2 and are chemical free. They have a burn time of 35+ hours on our smaller candles. You will not be disappointed. You will find that our candles when you relight them smell the same as the first time that you burn them compared to the store brand candles. Our candles are made from soy beans, which is hydro-generated from a soy bean. Soy wax is much softer giving it a lower melting point and in turn, a stronger longer lasting scent from wall to wall.


This has got to be my favorite item that is in this shop. Cotton Candy is my favorite scent by far and I can just picture how amazing this smells. It's actually really hard to find this scent in general, I hope I get this chance to try this out someday!
