Walter & Rosie Candle Co! Review

I have a review on some wax tarts today! These are not like any other wax I have reviewed here on my blog before. These are super special and really hit home when I stumbled across these on the internet. The name of this shop is called Walter and Rosie Candle Co and they make a wide range of wax that are Disney inspired! Yep that's right Disney Wax. If you are Disney obsessed like me then these are a must, especially when your away from Disney I know it gets hard and these make it a little bit more manageable lol.

 

I was sent three different wax tarts to try out and I am so thrilled to share these with you! The scents I received are Citrus Swirl, Polynesian and Main Street Confectionary. Is your mouth watering yet? Because mine is lol. These are packaged just like any other wax tarts you find pretty much anywhere. Each package contains 6 cubes of wax. You simply break off one piece of wax and place into your warmer and then you are good to go! Let's get a close look at each on these scents and see how amazing they are I am so excited to see what these smell like!

 

Up first we have Citrus Swirl. This automatically makes me want a Dole Whip from Disney lol. I could smell this one over the two other as soon as I opened my mail. I didn't even have to open the wax itself before getting a whiff of this. Let me just tell you this smells amazing! It smells just like a creamsicle. I'm not a huge fan of Citrus stuff, but I easily make an exception with this lol. I cant get over how good this smells!

 

The description of this scent is:

"On your next "adventure" don't forget to grab a sweet treat from the orange bird filled with touches of orange citrus and vanilla."

 

Up next we have Polynesian which I was unsure how this one was going to smell. I really like this one too! It smells really fruity which is another one of my favorite scents. This is a really relaxing scent and reminds me of the beach. It is super relaxing! I really love this scent as well. I think this is going to be my go to scent over the summer!

 

The description for this scent is:

"Aloha with a touch of sweet melon, raspberry nectar, Italian lemon and creamy coconut."

 

 

The last wax tart I have to share with you all is called Main Street Confectionary. This is the one I wanted to try the most, considering this is my favorite place in Disney and I love the smell of that place. Let me just say Oh my goodness! Sugar overload. This smells soooo good it's not even funny. It is sooo sweet and smells just like candy which is huge hit for me. If you like sweet scents then this is the scent for you!

 

The description for this scent is:

"Everyone’s favorite summer time treat, this candy-like scent with touches of sweet vanilla and orange will leave you wishing you were in line grabbing a bag right now."

 

My final thought on these wax tarts is over the roof! These are by far the most amazing smelling tarts I have ever tried. The scents are super powerful in the packaging and in the warmers as well. The Citrus Swirl filled my entire home with this scent and I can't get over how powerful these truly are. The fact that these are Disney just makes these even more special. I love these and I highly recommend checking them out.

CandlesByAmanda228 On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

I received two different candle products from a shop on etsy by the name of CandlesByAmanda228

The first product is some wax melts in the scent  salted caramel latte. I am in love with food scents so this is absolutely perfect lol. I could smell these through the plastic container before I even opened them up.

Inside the package is 6 squares that you break apart an put into your warmer. Personally, I only needed one. I have a Scentsy and one was the perfect amount. I think if you might use more then one the scent might be too over powering. These melted really nicely and worked amazing. I used one cube, and left my Scentsy on for a few days, and it still smelt amazing. This is ascent that will certainly smell up a house rather quickly. I loved this smell in my home I thought it was very warm and welcoming.

The packaging for these wax melts are just like those for the Scentsy, or ones you will find anywhere. I found the packaging really helpful. They are easy to break apart and they store really easily sense they hardly take up any space.

Next we have a candle, in the scent cotton candy! I almost freaked out when I seen she had the scent cotton candy lol. It's one of my all time favorites and it is so hard to find, so when I seen she had this I just had to have it lol. This is one of her tin candles that is six ounces. I instantly thought of my childhood as soon as I opened this and took a sniff! If anyone remembers those cotton candy body sprays from back in the day, this smelt identical to it. If you think I'm crazy and have no idea what I'm talking about then lol this smells just like cotton candy, its super sweet smelling and smells just like real cotton candy. It smells delicious.

The wax for this one is a light blue color which is perfect for the cotton candy theme. I really do love how she chose this color it is is perfect. I did in fact use this candle a few times. I didn't find this candle to be super potent in scent, but then again i just think its just the scent. This fragrance is on the softer side, and is'nt so strong. I still found this candle to be pretty amazing and relaxing as well.

Overall these wax melt and candles are amazing, she did an amazing job at creating them. I am pretty impressed and loved the scents that I was able to try.

These would make perfect gifts for pretty much anyone.

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: I came up with the name as it goes with my business as I make candles and it fit perfectly.  We get to play and melt wax and using Wax It Up Candles just stuck.

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: Friends of mine told me to venture out of my comfort zone and try it since and it would bring me more business and within 2 days of being open, I had my first sale

 

Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: Right now it is a hobby but i would love to one day open my own business and make it full time, but I love and enjoy making candles.

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: To Be able to open my own store one day !!!

 

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: To be able to expand and be more creative and come up with new ideas that brings in more customers that want to buy my candles vs. going to retail stores.

 

What is something you want your future customers to kno about your shop: All of our candles burn 50% cleaner with less soot, burn evenly and cleaner and release no CO2 and are chemical free. They have a burn time of 35+ hours on our smaller candles. You will not be disappointed. You will find that our candles when you relight them smell the same as the first time that you burn them compared to the store brand candles. Our candles are made from soy beans, which is hydro-generated from a soy bean. Soy wax is much softer giving it a lower melting point and in turn, a stronger longer lasting scent from wall to wall.


This has got to be my favorite item that is in this shop. Cotton Candy is my favorite scent by far and I can just picture how amazing this smells. It's actually really hard to find this scent in general, I hope I get this chance to try this out someday!
