Story Leather! Review

I received a beautiful product from an online store by the name of Story Leather. This is a company that makes some beautiful leather products such as phone cases and bags and a few other small items. I have never owned anything that is real leather so I am thrilled to be sharing this product with all of you guys today.

 

The first thing that totally caught me off guard is that everything comes in small boxes, which are super well packed. I was honestly a little surprised by this. It's not many companies that take the time to nicely ship things. So it's extremely nice that they take an extra step to make sure that your product will come in perfect condition. Another awesome thing about this company is that they make custom phone cases! If they don't have something you like listed on their webpage, then have no fear. You can design the perfect case for you. Your able to choose which design is best for you, along with the color, and the texture of the leather too. The possibilities are truly endless and that is so awesome. It's not everyday you find a company like this. To be honest I don't think I have ever found one that makes custom cases like these ones.

 

Each product is also wrapped in a piece of super soft fabric to prevent your case from getting damaged as well.

 

 

 

This is the case that was sent to me to try out. I can 100% say I am in love with this case. I have been on the hunt for this wallet style type of case for a pretty long time, and I haven't been able to find the right one for me until now. I think having a wallet style case is super convenient for running into the store or just going shopping with because you don't have to worry about carrying a bunch of things, all you need is your phone and then you are good to go! I have had this case for a few days now and I have been using it everyday. I can not even remember the last time I have been this obsessed with a phone case before, which is really surprising for me. I used this case this past weekend when I went to Disney and let me just it was life changing to say the least. I didn't have to worry about carrying a wallet. Everything was with me and it made going to the park so much easier.

The first thing I have to say about this case is that I am in love with the color of it. There are many color to choose from, and instantly when I seen this color I knew it was the one for me. As you can tell from my blog pink is my favorite color. It's kind of rare to find this perfect bubblegum pink on anything, so when I see stuff in this color I have to have it! lol.

 

Incase you are wondering the model I got is for the iPhone 6 plus. Also is anyone is an owner of an iPhone 6 plus you understand the struggle in finding cases for it. Let alone finding a cute one at that. I am really excited that they carry  case for my model of phone. They offer pretty much cases for all types of models, which is extremely awesome if your having a hard time looking for a case for your phone.

 

I am in love with this design of this case. It truly is perfect for me. It's short and sweet and right to the point. I didn't want a big bulky case for my phone and this one if perfect. It has three card slots, which is the right amount for me. I have carrying a million cards around with me so this makes it super easy to down size a little. Also another hidden feature is that there is money slot behind the cards. It actually took me a few days to find this to be honest with you lol. I love how this is hidden just because if someone were to pick it up, they wouldn't see your cash right away.

 

This case truly fits my phone like a glove. All my buttons are super accessible which is really important and the camera hole lines up perfectly with my phone as well. I know with some cases sometimes they cut outs for the buttons and camera can sometimes just be off, even in the slightest and that always drives me nuts! But that isn't the case with this.

 

 

This case has magnetic closure which makes it super easy to use. It makes this perfect if you only have one free hand as well.

 

Everything about this case is perfect. I am amazed with the quality and detail put into this case. Ever stitch is perfect, there truly isn't any flaws in this case at all. I love the design of the case. I love the color of this case. Is there anything I don't love about this case? Nope I don't think so. If you are on the market for an awesome phone case that is going to last you Story Leather is the place for you to find your match. I highly recommend these case and I can assure you that will be in love with these cases and that's a promise!

Treska! Review!

I have a very exciting review for you all today. I will reviewing an online store by the name of Treska. They make some beautiful statement pieces of jewelry, as well as handbags, scarfs, and other accessories. I must also add that all of the pieces on their online store 100% hand crafted and made in the U.S. Today I will reviewing two different jewelry pieces for you all. Let's get into the review!

 

 

The first item I have to share with all of you is statement necklace. This is a very loud piece lol. I must say this isn't something I would typically wear but I am in love with this piece to say the least. I love how unique this is. I love how wearing this piece on a plain basic outfit would really spice it up and make it look totally different which is pretty awesome. As you can tell from the picture there is so much going on with this necklace. As far as the color scheme goes I really love it! I love the blend of these oranges, blues, creams, and greens. They really all go together beautifully. I love the blend of the different colors. By having so many colors in one piece this really makes it a lot easier when it comes to pairing this piece with an outfit sense it will go with so many outfits.

As far as closure goes for this necklace this has something a little different. I have never seen something quite like this before. This is called a hook clasp. It's pretty self explanatory you simple slide the open hole on the hook and boom you are secure. The extra little notch on the hook makes sure it doesn't slide off. This is a pretty simple clasp but I love it! It's super easy to use to take on and off your jewelry. I hate asking people to help put my jewelry on for me and this is super simple you can easily do this by yourself.

 

Another reason I really love this piece is because how different all the beads are. There are four different rows when it comes to this necklace. Each one is filled with all different beads of different sizes, shapes, and colors. It is so funky but they really all do go together so perfectly. The material used to make these beads are different too they range from stone, plastic and wood beads.

 

 

 

The last item I have to review is the matching earrings of this set. I am truly in love with these too! I wouldn't say these are as loud as the earrings, but I would say these are pretty cute too! I think together wearing both piece your bound to get some compliments. You could easily wear these earrings on their own too which is nice. These earrings don't have as much color as the necklace which makes these a little more plain. These however are my favorite style of earrings. These are the dangle type, which looks good on pretty much everyone.

The back of these earrings are my favorite type as well! You simply just hook these in and your good to go. You don't need actual backs but you could wear them if you wanted. I love how they did include these with the earrings just in case you wanted to wear them. For my own personal preference I don't like wearing the plastic backs, it just creates an extra un-needed step for me which I don't usually have time for, but that's just me.

 

I have to say I love these jewelry piece. These are some gorgeous pieces and the are made beautifully. I am amazed with how well they have held up with me wearing them each a few times already. They both feel really sturdy and secure which is nice. I highly recommend checking this site out for some awesome pieces to add to your jewelry collection.

I received a nice bow from a shop on Etsy by the name of HandGCrafts to review for you guys today!

 

 

This is the bow that I received to review, and I just love it! This bow that she sent me is one of her Little Mermaid inspired hair bows. I love how this isn't a basic Little Mermaid bow, and what I mean by that is there is all the princesses on this bow, which I really like! This bow is super colorful as well, which makes this super easy to pair up with different outfits. I love how she created this bow and wasn't afraid to combine some off the wall fabrics together. In my opinion I could never really picture these pieces of ribbon all tied together in one bow. To my surprise they all actually work really well with each other, and match pretty good. I love the center of this bow is one of those bottle cap charms and it's super cute. That is the perfect finishing touch in this little mermaid bow :)

I have reviewed quite a few bows here on my blog, but I do have to say I really like this one as well. This is probably one of the best handmade bows I have received. This bow was put together very nicely. It wasn't done sloppy at all, which can be a huge problem when purchasing handmade products, but I can assure you that you wont have this problem with this shop. Honestly if this bow was handed to me I would have assumed this came from a store. She did an amazing job at making this bow, and she has such a huge variety to choose from!

 

This bow would be a great gift for anyone who is fan of the Disney Princesses, especially Ariel :)

I received an adorable bow from a shop on Etsy by the name of DreamLoveAndBows

The bow that was sent to me to review is inspired by the one and only Ariel from The Little Mermaid, which is one of my all time favorites! I'm pretty obsessed with this bow to be quite honest with you lol. I love the colors she used to create this bow. They do an amazing job at making this bow look just like Ariel. The red for her hair, purple for her clam bra, and the green for her tail. Another reason I really like this bow is because the ribbon she used to create this bow, is almost like a satin material. As you can see in this picture the bow has a little bit of shine to it, which is just gorgeous! I love how in the center of the bow she included some glittery fabric, it really adds the perfect amount of bling to the bow. My favorite part however has got to be the fork in the center or should I say the Dinglehopper, and if you have no idea what the heck I am talking about well shame on you, go get educated and watch The Little Mermaid lol. Anyways, this bow is perfect. The fork she placed on this bow is really the perfect touch to this bow. She even went the extra mile and plced some gorgeous rhinestones to the end of the "Dinglerhopper".

This hair bow is attached to your basic hair clip. These are my favorite types of clips, they are super easy to use. These clips are even great for little girls, sense there so easy to put in and out of your hair. The hair clip is attached perfectly to the back of this bow, as you can see in this photo there are no loose strands of glue. She did a really neat and tidy job with this bow, and it really shows. This whole bow was assembled perfectly and really looks like something you would get out of the store, which is awesome!

Overal I'm super impressed with the quality of this bow, it feels really sturdy and durable like this going to last me quite a long time. I really love this bow and can't wait to wear it when I hit up Walt Disney World.

PekiDesigns On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

Today I have some gorgeous earrings to review for all of you today from a shop by the name of PekiDesigns on Etsy!

They sent this gorgeous pair of rose gold earrings. These are actually a pair of their birthstone earrings. You are able to pick which color stone you would like and then you can pick the type of metal you would like as well. My birth stone is not this one, however I love pink so I chose this stone. My favorite metal is rose gold as well so I picked that. These are beyond perfect. I love the size of the stone of these. It's not too big and not to small, these fit my ears perfectly.

This stone that I chose is the pink one and the way it shines in the light is just gorgeous. I have gotten several complements while wearings these already

Most of the earrings you buy online come with those cheap plastic back that I absolutely hate! So I was super excited to see that these actually came with real earring backs!  The earring backs are really easy to use as well, they are not too tight and not too loose. I have acrylic  nails, and was able to take these in and out pretty easily. These earrings are actually really comfortable as well, they didn't irritate my ears or cause me any discomfort. I actually fell asleep with these in my ears, which I never do, and the earrings were fine and so were my ears lol.

These are packaged really nicely as well. Each pair of earrings is sent in an adorable box just like this one and its so cute! This little step really goes a long way for me. I love when jewelry stores send their products in small boxes, rather then just throwing them in a plastic bag :)

I am super impressed with the quality of these earrings. This a piece of jewelry that I will have for a very long time :)

These would make the perfect gift for pretty much any female. It's a nice piece of jewelry and you can also customize them for pretty much anyone :)

BigImaginations On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

 

I have some little bows to review for you today from a shop on etsy by the name of BigImaginations 

 

 

She actually sent me 2 bows to review. This first bow she sent me is inspired by The Little Mermaid. I love this one! I love how simple this bow is.  It's your basic purple bow, but she added some purple fish nets over the top of it which I really like. She even made the center of the bow red which really captures the red hair the little mermaid has. For the perfect finishing touch she added a small seashell which is pretty adorable.

Next up we have this Halloween bow. This one is probably my favorite. This one really captures Halloween perfectly which is really cool :)  This bow she made out of burlap, which is perfect for the fall time. In the center there is a small plastic jack o lantern which is adorable. Then on one side of the bow she added some really small bats which is perfect. I love how this one is simple as well. I know I wont be able to wear this very many times in a year but that's okay :) I am super excited to wear this bow!

Both of the bows are on basic hair clips. As you can tell from the back these were made really neatly, there is no extra glue or fabric hanging off the bows, which shows how much time is really put into making these.

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: "Sparks" is actually the name of my & my husbands song. "Emporium" was fitting for a title word as I don't just make one type of thing; I make so many things and that's what emporiums carry, a variety. 

How long has your shop been open: Just over three years total. 

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: I had heard of Etsy for years and figured it was my best platform to start off on. My full time shop is now sparksemporium.bigcartel.com.

Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: This is something I do full time as I am a stay-at-home-mom to my little dude. 

What kind of items do you sell in your shop: Mostly jewelry. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches etc. I will throw in some bows, head scarves and candles here and there too. I'm very inspired by Disney, Harry Potter and so many other fandoms.

Your favorite item that you sell: That's a super tough one. I put so much time, evergy and love into everything I do & my favorites change often. Right now I think it's these; my glass and druzy pieces.

This bow is absolutely gorgeous, it has so many sparkles all over it, which I just adore! When I was looking throughout her shop I got super excited because every bow that she has is just so gorgous! She has a huge selection in her shop

The bow that she sent me is personalized just for me! In the top left corner of this bow it has a Minnie Mouse head and has my name written in the Disney font.

In the bottom right corner it has in silver sparkles, the Cinderella castle.

Just when you think there couldn't be any more bling she added some more!

In the center of this bow she included some rhinestones, that I might add are perfectly placed.

She also included little rhinestones all over the pink parts of this bow.

This material isn't made out of  basic ribbon like most bows on Etsy, this material is really thick and not flimsy at all. This bow is super sturdy which is awesome because most bows that I have aren't exactly the best quality so I'm always scared of them breaking, but with this one I'm not at all.

This bow is attached with just a basic hair elastic, which is great because I always wear my hair in a pony tail.

These bows are huge let me just tell you! I was so shocked when this arrived in the mail, becuase it truly is big. I'm so excited to wear this to Disney next time I go, I know for a fact I'm going to get so many compliments on this.
