Dermstore Review!

I received an awesome product from an online website by the name of Dermstore.com

They sent me this gorgeous set of makeup brushes! I love these, they are truly gorgeous and let me just tell you this rose gold is such a beautiful color pictures really don't do this product any justice at all. The brush set they sent me to review comes with 5 different brushes, and it comes in an adorable rose gold case to math the brushes.

Retails:($30.00)

Here is a close up all the brushes that are included in this set. As you can see they do a great job at including a really good assortment of these brushes. There are a few face brushes along with some eye brushes as well. I'm not sure you are able to tell in this photo but these brushes are on the shorter side of brushes. I wouldn't call these mini by any means. I do find these to be a little shorter then some other brushes that I own, but I think that these truly are the perfect size.

For this next part of the review I am going to go through each of these brushes and tell you what I have used them for, or If you plan on purchasing these brushes you can get some ideas on what to use them with.

This brush is perfect for pretty much any face product. Power foundation, blush, or even to contour with. I personally used this with my pressed powder and loved it.

Now this brush is probably my favorite out of all the ones in the set just because this is brush that I have never owned before. I used this for two different makeup items. The first time I used this as a concealer brush for under my eyes. The brush brissels on this one are really tight together, so there not as soft so this makes it great for using it with any type of liquid. The 2nd time I used this brush to place eye shadow  under my eyes and it did an amazing job at that.

Next we have a brush that is perfect for concealer this brush is a lot like the one above because the brissels are tight together as well. I used this one for my foundation as well as my concealer. It does a really good job at blending in my makeup.

The next brush is a brush that I think is perfect for eye shadow. I think this is the brush that I have used the most. It's just the the brush that I have in my naked palette and I just love it.

Now we are at the last brush to complete this review. This brush is perfect for blending in eye shadows. I have used this one quite a bit as well, and really like it too.

Here is a close up of one of the brushes. You can see how soft these brushes really are. I am pretty much in love with these. Another great thing about these brushes is that none of the little brush hairs ever fall out. I have a lot of different brushes and a few of mine actually shed a lot which is really annoying, but these are totally different. I am happy to add these to my brushes and finally get rid of some that are way over due. I also love how the brushes are white, it makes it easy to see when their is product on the brush and when you are due to clean them as well.

Usually when cases are a freebie with any type of beauty item its usually really cheapy, and usually not the cutest. I can assure you that isn't the case this time. I actually really love this little makeup bag! It's a really pretty rose gold color. It matches the brushes perfectly and it also fits them all in as well.

Inside the bag is a dark green color and I really like how this case opens and closes. Most cases either have a zipper or even a button but this one is different. This one has a slit cut into the front of the bag where you simple just stick in the bottom of the flap of the bag.

Each purchase from this shop comes with a free sample. They even included one for me for this review which was awesome. This little sample was quite a surprise for me. I didn't think that they would include this but they did which was awesome. The sample that was included with my brush set was an eye cream. It's funny how this was included just because I have been wanting to buy one for a while now. I can now test this one out to see if I like this.

So my final thoughts for these products are highly good! I would say these brushes are pretty nice and especially for the price as well. I can tell these brushes are going to last me a really long time. I don't usually have nice brushes like this but I'm so glad I do now. It's now time to throw out all my old brushes and replace them with these beauties :)

Wicked Designs on StorEnvy!

I received a really gorgeous necklace from Wicked Designs on StorEnvy!

She sent me this adorable Minnie Necklace.
Retails:($34.00)

Inside the necklace there is red sparkly background, with a Minnie head and at the bottom is says Minnie as well. Inside there are small little beads that move around which is really cool. The beads inside look like small crystals, and these in the colors red, black and clear which match really good with this entire necklace. This necklace remind me a lot of the Origami Owl's that are pretty popular right now.

She also even included a few little charms that hang on top on the actual necklace. The first charm is heart charm that says "made with love". The  other charm is little purse that matches the necklace perfectly. She also included a few little bead dangles as well (these are the same beads that are inside the necklace as well)

The chain on this is very nice as well, its rally long and feels extra sturdy which is awesome. While browsing through this shop I found lots of pieces that caught my eyes ans this style of necklace was one of them! When I received this in the mail I was amazed by the size of this, its pretty big and I really wasn't expecting that when I was looking at these.

Inside the package she also included this bookmark which has all of her information on. I thought this was really adorable and really creative, and I wanted to share it with you all :)

Overall I'm amazed by this shop. I have been thinking about getting a origami owl necklace for so long and i'm so glad I didn't. They are super over priced and don't even have any Disney charms which is a real bummer, but I found a much better alternative. These necklaces are so much better, they feel really durable and they are super custom as well.

I highly recommend checking this shop out for yourself!

Creativeniknaks On Etsy!

I received a absolute beautiful art piece from a shop by the name of Creativeniknaks
The shop owners name is Laura and she makes beautiful artwork that is definitely one a kind. I've yet to find anything like this before ever!
Retails:($25.00)

She makes beautiful 3D art pieces inside of a shadow box. She makes a big variety of these and of course I got a Disney one :) She sent me Belle which is incredible.

I cant get over the amount of detail in this piece. My favorite part of this, has got to be the red flowers that are in her hair. It just adds so much depth to this piece and definitely is the thing in this that really catches my eye. I love how there red as well it is a great contrast to her yellow dress.

She made this inside of a black shadow box that's 8in x 10in Its pretty deep in depth.

I tried to include photos from all angles, so you can get a better view on how this really looks in real life. It was really hard trying to photograph this, you really need to see this in person, its incredible.

The amount of time and effort put into this really shows, in fact all of the pieces in her shop all the pieces in her entire shop are all the same way, I'm actually working with her now too plan out the next piece, stay tuned because I will definitely be posting it right on the blog. I wont tell you what it will be, but i will give you a hint...

Location: Homer Glen, Illinois

Age: 46

Name of shop: Up and Down Art

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: I quite my job as an X-ray tech of 25 years. My husband suggested I get a hobby so I started to paint acrylic paintings. I sold several to friends and then decided to start my own business.

Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: this is my only job so it would be full time.

Your favorite item that you sell: either a textured painting or a Northern Lights painting.

ChicShedJewelry on Etsy! Interview :)

Name: Alyssa Galloway

Location: Sesser, Illinois, USA

Age: 25

Name of shop: Chic Shed Jewelry

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: Well, I had several other names in mind at first, but when I searched on Etsy or Google, I would find they had already been taken! I wanted my name to be straight to the point, and so 'chic' (stylish) 'shed' (another name for deer antlers) and 'jewelry' (obvious) became the name of my shop! I know not everyone knows about shed antlers, antler deer shed naturally each year, but I put the information in each description of my items so my customers understand the connection to my shop name and where my products come from.

How long has your shop been open: Since March 31st, 2015

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: I started by painted a deer skull actually. I have always been very artistic and had a lot of fun painting. Then I remembered seeing someone at a craft show once selling cross necklaces made from deer antlers. I didn't know how to create what they were selling exactly, but I knew I personally would love a deer antler necklace. My husband helped with cutting and sanding the deer antlers, and I went to hobby Lobby to find some accessories like cord to string my antlers onto. I made three items, and began posting them on local facebook swap pages. No one seemed very impressed or cared, but I KNEW they were awesome and I would buy them. I had bought from Etsy before, and I thought it was like Ebay but for handmade items. I didn't realize I was opening a business until after the fact. But I opened an Etsy store and listed my items with some mediocre pictures and hardly any information in my shop. Luckily, I was in a mom's Facebook group with another woman who had been selling on Etsy for a while, who referred me to a couple Etsy Facebook groups. From there, my shop really took off.

Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: Before my shop, I was a full time stay at home mommy. So I still stay at home with my son, and then run my Etsy shop full time. I consider it more than a hobby, but less than a career if that makes sense, though I would love for it to morph into a career.

What kind of items do you sell in your shop: I sell items made of deer antler. I also have hand painted deer skulls. All the antlers and skulls were found in the woods and ethically harvested. I have made much more than jewelry from antlers though, including wedding items, home decor like wreaths or coasters, headbands, just so much! My main focus is jewelry though, necklaces, earrings, rings, etc.

Your favorite item that you sell: Deer tine necklaces. They make up half of my shop and are my most popular items, and I love them as well. If I had to pick my favorite item in store now, it would be this one:
Retails:($24.50)

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: I'm hoping to become profitable soon! One thing I would love to happen is for a celebrity to order or a major tv show to have one of my items worn on it. that would be amazing.

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: Always
If so what: I do have some ideas for a simplistic jewelry line using heavy gauge copper wire in the future, and I am half way through a deer antler jewelry hanger and a stocking hanger. I hope to do all those by end of this year.

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: Each of my pieces are one of a kind, priced very reasonably so that I've been told to raise prices several times but refuse, and that deer were not harmed in the making of your beautiful items that are as unique as you are. With over 100 items in my shop, priced $7 and up, there is something for everyone!

For my favorite item I picked something very different, I picked this beautiful boutique of flowers. As soon as I seen this my eyes were attracted right away, there is just something about this that I absolutely love. I love how its "rustic" as well. I can see this being used at a country style weddings, it would be perfect.
Retails:($70.00)
