Ipsy Review!

I have a little delayed of a blog post for you all today. I will be doing a full review on my monthly subscription service of Ipsy. This is the subscription service from February. I thought better late then never right? For those of you asking what the heck a Ipsy is I will explain. This is a subscription service that is based around your beauty needs! when you sign up you take a little quiz that asks you all kinds of beauty questions about your self, such as your eye and hair color and what kind of products you use. This little quiz makes sure to ensure you get products that would more then likely want to try out. I think its awesome on how accurate this quiz is with your box each month. I don't think I have ever received a product that I was unhappy with.

 

 

Firstly all the subscription products are sent monthly in cute makeup bags each month. I am in love with this months! It looks like an adorable love letter :) I have to say this makeup bag is pretty nice and feels really sturdy as well which Is awesome as well !

 

 

This months theme is Pretty in #ipsypink I love the name of this theme! Each month inside your bag you are sent a little card with the theme and on the other side it lists all the products in your box. I however discard this because I like being surprised.

 

 

The first product is by SmashBox which is one my favorite brands. This is one of their newer products which is called Photo finish primer oil. I have to say I really love how much product is included in this sample, you can easily try this out quite a few times. You only need a little tiny bit when you use this product each time anyways. I am obsessed with trying out new primers and the fact that this one is an oil just is so much more inviting lol. I love how different this product is. I am super excited to try this one out!

 

 

A eye makeup brush is next. You can never have to many makeup brushes in my opinion. I use so many its probably not even funny lol. I love how this one is pink of course. This would be perfect for a lot of different areas around your eyes. I love how soft this brush is as well. Another thing I really like is how the hair bristles are white on the top, call my weird but this makes it so much better in telling when your makeup brushes are clean and when they are dirty lol.

 

The next product that is included is by the brand Chella. I have never heard of this brand before. This is lip pencil in the color passionate pink. I have to say I am in love with this color and I think it's perfect for wearing with pretty much any outfit. I tried this right away and I can honestly say I never typically go for products like this, but this one I really love. I cant wait to wear this with a few different looks. I will be sure to use this quite a bunch.

 

 

Next we have a product by the name Naked. I have tried so many products by this brand before and I love them all! This is one of their loose pigment eye shadows. Ipsy nailed it with this color. I loveeeee it and its totally something that I would normally go for!

 

The last product that was included in my ipsy bag is this hydrating cream by the brand carrot and rose. This is a brand I have never heard of before and I am super excited in trying this out. I think this has several uses. I have super dry skin so this will be a perfect product for me! I plan on trying this out as a facial cream.

 

 

As you can see this Ipsy bag was packed with amazing products. Most of these would be products that I would buy by myself anyways! I can't believe that their subscription bags are only $10 a month. It's such a steal because you get so many amazing products and you really truly get your moneys worth with this subscription service. I am so hooked on this company and highly recommend getting  one for yourself!

Lip Monthly! Subscription Service!

Today I have a review for you all from a subscription service called Lip Monthly. I have never heard of this before until being contacted by one of them to do a review for them. Just by seeing the name of the company I new that I would be super in love with this! Lip products are always my favorite and you really can never have enough. Am I right?!

 

So the first things that is super awesome about this subscription is that each one comes in an adorable makeup bag. I have about a million of these and I use them so often so this is awesome. I really do like this one too and I do plan on using it!

 

 

Oooh look at all the goodies that come inside this bag! A card is also included with the list of each product along with pricing for each product, and what it would cost you if you wanted to go buy them individually.

 

 

The first product is a Chapstick product. This is a pretty well known brand. I do have to say that I have never seen this product before. It's a dual ended Chapstick. The one end is for daytime and the other is for night time. I am excited to try this out and see how it really works! I always am impressed with products from this brand so I can see myself really enjoying this product.

 

 

The next product that was included in this bag is by the name Ofra which is brand I have never heard of before. This doesn't alarm me in any way. I love trying new products and especially new brands. This is a lipstick that goes on like lip-gloss. In my opinion I love products like this kind. I use them a lot sense they are so easy to apply, and so easy to wear. I love the color of this product too, its a dark red color it almost has a purple tint to it. I'm a fan of this one too!

Up next we have a lip pencil by the brand name of Mirabella. I have actually heard of this brand too but I have never had the chance to try it out...until now lol. I am super excited that I have this to try out. The color that they sent me in the color red. This isn't typically a color that I would go for, but I do like to try new things, so who knows maybe I will like this one!

I do really like the packaging for this product. I think it looks very sleek. and really nice. You can probably tell from this picture that this product is a real red color! But that's okay! I am excited to try it out and see how it goes.

 

The last product I have to review is by the brand Beauty For Real. This is another brand I have heard nothing about. I like the color of this one its a very neutral pink which would go with a lot of looks. I think you could easily use this product alone or you could also pair it with your favorite lipstick and you would be good to go!

My final thoughts on this subscription service is that it's pretty good. You get a lot of product for your money. I overall think the value on that card isn't correct, I wouldn't pay $20 for any of these products on their own but that is just my own personal opinion. I do think you get some pretty good products for your money and they always have amazing deals so you can snag one of these bags at a really good deal.

Dermstore Review!

I received an awesome product from an online website by the name of Dermstore.com

They sent me this gorgeous set of makeup brushes! I love these, they are truly gorgeous and let me just tell you this rose gold is such a beautiful color pictures really don't do this product any justice at all. The brush set they sent me to review comes with 5 different brushes, and it comes in an adorable rose gold case to math the brushes.

Here is a close up all the brushes that are included in this set. As you can see they do a great job at including a really good assortment of these brushes. There are a few face brushes along with some eye brushes as well. I'm not sure you are able to tell in this photo but these brushes are on the shorter side of brushes. I wouldn't call these mini by any means. I do find these to be a little shorter then some other brushes that I own, but I think that these truly are the perfect size.

For this next part of the review I am going to go through each of these brushes and tell you what I have used them for, or If you plan on purchasing these brushes you can get some ideas on what to use them with.

This brush is perfect for pretty much any face product. Power foundation, blush, or even to contour with. I personally used this with my pressed powder and loved it.

 

Now this brush is probably my favorite out of all the ones in the set just because this is brush that I have never owned before. I used this for two different makeup items. The first time I used this as a concealer brush for under my eyes. The brush brissels on this one are really tight together, so there not as soft so this makes it great for using it with any type of liquid. The 2nd time I used this brush to place eye shadow  under my eyes and it did an amazing job at that.

Next we have a brush that is perfect for concealer this brush is a lot like the one above because the brissels are tight together as well. I used this one for my foundation as well as my concealer. It does a really good job at blending in my makeup.

 

The next brush is a brush that I think is perfect for eye shadow. I think this is the brush that I have used the most. It's just the the brush that I have in my naked palette and I just love it.

 

Now we are at the last brush to complete this review. This brush is perfect for blending in eye shadows. I have used this one quite a bit as well, and really like it too.

Here is a close up of one of the brushes. You can see how soft these brushes really are. I am pretty much in love with these. Another great thing about these brushes is that none of the little brush hairs ever fall out. I have a lot of different brushes and a few of mine actually shed a lot which is really annoying, but these are totally different. I am happy to add these to my brushes and finally get rid of some that are way over due. I also love how the brushes are white, it makes it easy to see when their is product on the brush and when you are due to clean them as well.

 

 

 

Usually when cases are a freebie with any type of beauty item its usually really cheapy, and usually not the cutest. I can assure you that isn't the case this time. I actually really love this little makeup bag! It's a really pretty rose gold color. It matches the brushes perfectly and it also fits them all in as well.

 

 

Inside the bag is a dark green color and I really like how this case opens and closes. Most cases either have a zipper or even a button but this one is different. This one has a slit cut into the front of the bag where you simple just stick in the bottom of the flap of the bag.

 

Each purchase from this shop comes with a free sample. They even included one for me for this review which was awesome. This little sample was quite a surprise for me. I didn't think that they would include this but they did which was awesome. The sample that was included with my brush set was an eye cream. It's funny how this was included just because I have been wanting to buy one for a while now. I can now test this one out to see if I like this.

 

So my final thoughts for these products are highly good! I would say these brushes are pretty nice and especially for the price as well. I can tell these brushes are going to last me a really long time. I don't usually have nice brushes like this but I'm so glad I do now. It's now time to throw out all my old brushes and replace them with these beauties :)

NirvanaRoad on Etsy!

 I received a very beautiful make up bag from a shop by the name of NirvanaRoad

 

 

The makeup bag I received has a big butterfly on it, which is super pretty. When I first stumbled upon this shop I noticed that they carried a lot of bags with printed images on them and I was curious to how they would look in real life, if the pictures would be blurry or anything. To my surprise they actually look perfect like the image was printed right on to the bag.

 

These little bags also have an inside pocket which is awesome! I was super excited when I seen that it was like a little bonus because I had no idea. The quality of these bags are "Okay" I wouldn't say there top on the line but I also wouldn't say there dollar store material. The zippers work really well too which is great!
