Skin Deva! Review

 

Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog. Today I will be reviewing a skin care type product for all of you. This is by the brand called Skin Deva. This is a brand I haven't heard much about, so I wanted to get my own opinion on this product. Skin care products are probably one of my favorite types of reviews that I do on my blog. I love finding some great products, and I truly have high hopes for this one as well. On their online store there are really so many different types of serums and other products that they sell. I would have a hard time picking which one to try first. Lucky for me the friendly people over at Skin Deva did that job for me and picked out a product that they wanted to me to try out. There are truly a lot of amazing benefits of this product such as giving you a glow to your skin, freshens your skin, builds collagen, and exfoliates your skin. This product pretty much does it all which is really cool. I am always trying to find products that have a few benefits out of using them because I hate have so many different products, and this sounds like it will do a lot for my face.

 

I also really like how all the ingredients in this product are really pure. There is nothing in this product that will hurt, or irritate your skin which is really important to me. I have really sensitive skin, so finding products that wont irate my skin can be rather challenging at times. The instructions for using this product is really easy to. You simply wash your face before using this product and then you apply several drops (depending how much product you want) in your hands and then massage  on  to your skin, and then you are good to go. It also says on the package is recommends you to keep this in a cold place, so I did place this in my refrigerator before using it.

 

First let's talk about the overall packaging and then we will get on with the actual review of the product. I have to say I am loving the packaging. I love products that have a little dropper for packaging because it really helps you put in control how much product you use which is extremely helpful. I also like how these come in boxes too because these are glass bottles so this adds a little more safety when being shipped to you. I used this product right out of my fridge in the morning right after I woke up and I must say I love how this made my skin feel. It did make me feel extremely refreshed and it really hydrated my skin too. I love the fact that this product has no scent as all.  I think it really did give my skin a "glow". I used this product for a few days back to back and I really did enjoy using it. I think for my own personal preference I think this product works best to me when applied in the morning when I am getting ready for my day, because it helps wake me up a little bit. I didn't find this product to be as beneficial when applying this before bedtime, but that just could be me.

 

I really did enjoy this product, and I think I will continue to use this until I run out of it. I think this product is great because it has so many benefits in using it which is really great. I really suggest checking out this online store and having a little look at the types of products that they offer. I can assure you that will find something that you need in your life lol.

Dr Dennis Gross! Review

 

Today we will be getting a closer looks at some products from the brand Dr Dennis Gross. This a brand that specializes in skin care products, which so happens to be my favorite type of "beauty" products. They also have some hair care products as well. This brand pretty much carries all types of products to make your skin and hair look and feel beautiful! I was sent two different types of products for todays review, so lets get a closer look at both of these products.

 

 

The first product I will be talking about, and getting a closer look at is called Alpha Beta® Ultra Gentle Daily Peel. Just by the name of this product I figured this would be something I would like a lot which really excited me. I really didn't know what to expect with this product either, which is also exciting. I love reviewing products that I have never heard of before, because it makes me have an extremely open mind and I usually wont know what to expect which is fun as well.

The description of this product online is:

"Dr. Dennis Gross’ newest daily peel, designed for sensitive skin, contains three gentle acids, anti-agers, and soothing botanicals to exfoliate and nourish fragile skin and combat three common signs of aging: uneven skin tone and texture, fine lines and wrinkles, and enlarged pores."

 

The thing that really caught me off guard with this product is the way that's it's packaged. I wasn't expecting it to be like this at all. When you think of a facial peel, I'm sure you all think it's going to be in bottle or something which is what I thought. I wasn't expecting this product to be in little packets. I'm still not 100% sure if I like the way they packaged this product or not. I mean both packaging's have their pro's and their con's as well. I do like how you can just take one or two with you when your traveling. It makes it a lot a easier and a lot less to worry about. This box contains 30 packets, which claims to last you a month if you plan to use it everyday.

 

Each packets has two different products in it which is cool as well. Each side contains a moistened pad with the product on it. For step one this is the step that will moisture and also exfoliate the skin as well. The directions state for you to apply this to an already cleaned face, so I would suggest washing your face before this step. Next you will take the pad and rub this all over your face until all of the product on the pad is gone. Then you will head on to the next step which is the firming and lifting step. It says on the box to wait at least two minutes between using each product so make sure you do that as well. After two minutes have passed you will then do the same thing as before. Just apply the product all over your face and make sure you apply it all, until the pad is completely dry.

 

My experience with this product is fairly good. I think I liked the exfoliating step the most because I loved the feeling of it, and I also liked how soft it made my skin. With step two I definitely could feel like skin getting a little tighter which was a cool but also a really weird feeling too lol. I think both of the products did a really good job, and they really do exactly what they claim to me which was something I was a little nervous about. I think that both of these products worked amazing together as well. This is a product I will continue to use. I only tried this product once for the review, but I feel like once I use this a few more times this is going to be a product I cant live without.

 

 

The next and the final product I will be reviewing for all of you is called Hyaluronic Moisture Cushion. Pretty much this product is just a facial moisturizer which is one of my favorite types of skin care products. I have tried so many moisturizers it should be illegal lol. I love trying these out though because sometimes I find products I truly love!

The description for this product is:

As you can see from the image below this just looks like your normal moisturizer. I do have to say I like how the product it self has a hint of blue to it lol. I also like how this product has really no fragrance to it as well. The whole fragrance can really make or break a product for me. I have fallen in love with so many products but the scent will just kill me and I can no longer use them. So the fact that this one really has no scent makes it much better for me lol. I applied this to my skin after showering, like how I usually use my moisturizers. I must say I like how this product applied to my skin and how quickly it absorbed in as well. I thought this product made my skin extremely soft and mositurzied which is great sense I have super dry skin. I would have to say this product worked wonders on skin. I thought this was probably one of the best ones I have tried yet.

 

Another awesome thing about both of these products is that you can use these products together. You can use the Peel first and then follow up with using the moisturizer. I have to say both of these products were pretty nice and after using both of them I have to admit my skin felt pretty good. I think both of the products are a little on the more expensive side, but they are really worth the price. You pay for what you get, and that is so true.

Lip Monthly! Subscription Review

 

This review for today is going to be all about another Monthly Subscription Service. The one I will be discussing with all of you today is called Lip Monthly and this is a company I have worked with before in the past. Incase you missed the past review about this subscription service allow me to explain how it works for only ($12.95) you will receive 4-5 full sizes lip products in a makeup bag that is valued to be between $35-$55 which is crazy! I think lip products are my favorite beauty products and I use them daily so really I can never have enough of them and I am such a huge fan of trying new stuff out too so this is perfect for me!

 

 

Each month inside your bag there will be a card that looks similar to this one that will list all the products that came inside your bag along with a price for the value of each product you received as well. I always check with this back at the end because I really like being surprised to see what's in my bag each month. So let's take a peek and see what I got!

 

 

The first product is a lip-gloss and this is by the brand Camilla which is brand I have never heard of before this product retails for $14 so just right here you already have your bag paid for just by the first product!

 

As you can see this a gorgeous color. This is probably my favorite color, as far as lip products go. I also tend to wear colors that are really similar to this one. I am super excited to try this one out and tell you all what I think about it. This gloss smelt amazing. It smelt just like fruits and it did smell pretty delicious to be honest lol.

 

Next up we have another product by the same brand which is Camilla. This product is a lipstick and this one retails for $14 as well. I must say I am a fan on how both of these products come inside little boxes. It makes it look a lot nicer.

 

This is the same color as the lip-gloss and it is gorgeous! I am really loving this color. I am really excited to see what this color is going to look like on. I must say the packaging for this lipstick is pretty nice as well. I love the chrome accents on the tube. It adds a lot to this product.

 

Next we have a product by the brand Cargo, this is another brand I have never heard of before but I am excited to try it out and see how I like this product. I love the packaging for this one. It comes in a small tin which is adorable. This product retails for $10

 

 

Well this product caught me completely off gaud. I was expecting a lip balm to be inside but nope they decided to switch it up a little. This a blush and bronzer in a duo. I love how tiny this product it. this makes it perfect for travel or even for just putting it in your purse.

 

The last product in my bag for this month is by the brand Ecolips, this is their ecotints lip balm and the one that I received is in sugar plum. This product retails for $3.49

 

 

As you can see this product looks a little different then your average lip balm. I love the shape of this product as you can see its not round like most lip balms are. I would say this is a little on the oval side. I must say this makes it a lot easier in applying sense your lips are more like this shape, compared to round. I thought this product smelt amazing, it really has a nice mint scent to it.

 

I decided to include some swatches for you all you can see what the lip products look like once they are applied to the skin.

 

The first swatch is the gloss, as you can see this is the most pigmented product that I got. This was just with one swatch of the wand on my hand. I was quite shocked to see how well this showed up.

 

In the middle is the lipstick which you can see is pretty as well. I would say this is a lipstick you could easily build up if you want a more dramatic look or you can just leave it like this for more of an everyday look.

 

The last swatch is the lip balm. As you can see this is a darker color. I would say this is a good tint to your lips and would be perfect if you don't really want to wear much. I was kind surprised to see that this product had some color to it. For some reason I was expecting it to go on clear, but this just makes it better lol.

 

As you can see I really got my money's worth in this months bag. I am highly impressed with this bag and I love all the products that I received this month.

Cleopatras Choice! Review

I have so many amazing products to share with all of you today! All of these products came from Cleopatras Choice, which is an online retailer. I am so excited to share all of these amazing products with you today. They sent me a wide range of products to try out, and all of these products seemed like something I would love to try! They sent me a total of six products to test out so let's get into the review!

I have used products like this one in the past and I actually have never been a real fan of something like this. I decided to give this product the benefit of the doubt and try it out anyways. As you can see the way that they package this product is like a jumbo lip balm, which I really like. This gives for a really easy application and makes it so the product isn't messy which I like as well. All you have to do is apply this right to the area, and you don't have to worry about this getting all over your hands. Pretty much this product is for any type of dry or irritated skin. I used this on my elbows which is the driest part of skin on my body and I thought it did a pretty good job at moisturizing them.  The scent of this product is Honey which is pretty enjoyable. Overall I would say this is an "Okay" product. I wasn't too crazy over it, but I mean it did the job pretty well. I think this would be a great product for summer, when you get sunburns, or even for traveling this would be perfect.

 

The next product I have to review is by the brand Adovia, this is exfoliating facial salts. When I first heard this I was really interested. I don't think I have ever seen a product quite like this one before. Most of the exfoliating products I have found are just soaps that contains the exfoliating beads in them. In this case this is pretty much the beads that are in the jar all by themselves, which is pretty cool to be honest.

As you can see this is a huge portion, and you really only need a little bit at a time. The application for using this product is pretty easy as well. You apply this to a wet face and then you gently rub it around. I thought this product was hands down amazing. I was so impressed with how clean and soft my face felt right after using this. I felt like this product got deep down in my pores and really cleaned them out. I love this product, and I love how many different skin types could use this as well. If you have super sensitive skin, then you could just use a real small amount and maybe even mix it in with your face wash. There is so much you could do with this products. I read on the package that this is strictly just for your face but I decided to think outside the box and try this on my leg and see how it did. I thought it did a great job as well, so I think you could probably use this anywhere which is pretty cool. I don't know how I lived without this before, I have been so addicted to this product.

 

Next we have a product by the brand Topganic, and this is hair mask treatment, which my hair really needed I have really damaged hair so any product like this always excites me.

I used this product a few times sense getting it and I am loving it! You could use this product a few ways and I have tried pretty much all of them. You can use this in the shower in replacement of your conditioner, or you can just add an extra step after conditioning your hair and just let this sit on for a little longer, or if your hair is feeling a little dry you can just wet your hair and apply this product. I thought this product worked best when I washed my hair first then applied this. I was amazed with the consistency of this product as you can see, this is a really thick formula so it really applies nicely to your hair.  I thought the longer I let this sit on my hair the softer my hair felt afterwards. I would recommend just applying this to your driest parts of your hair like your ends. I made the mistake at applying this to my roots and wasn't impressed lol. I thought it made my hair feel a little greasy, but that was the only issue I had. I thought this product did a really good job at repairing my hair which is what I really needed!

 

The next product I have to share with you all is by Model in a bottle and this is a makeup setting spray. I actually just ran out of my previous one, so I was looking for a new one so this one came just in time lol.

Right off the bat I must comment on the packaging! I love how all the packaging has a lot of pink in it which you all know I really like lol. I have always used setting sprays two different ones. The first way I typically use this product is by using it as a primer, and then the other way Is just by setting my makeup. I have to say I didn't really like this product for being a primer, but I did enjoy this product for a setting spray on its own. I thought this did such a great job at having my makeup stay all day! It didn't budge and I love the matte effect it left on my face. I was also impressed the scent of this product. I have never had a setting spray with such an amazing fragrance before. It smelt so great, and that really added to my love for this product. I can honestly say this is life changing product.

The next product is by GoPure and this an organic Argan Oil. I have heard amazing thing about argan oil and have been super interested in trying a product out like this. I have really dry hair and heard that product does wonders on dry and damaged hair.

There are a lot of uses for the product however I just decided to stick to trying it on my hair only for this review. I must say I love the packaging of this product. The syringe really makes it easy to get the perfect amount of product and you don't have to worry about getting too much out at once, because if you do you can just suck it back up and put it back in the bottle which is really cool. I applied this product to the ends of my hair after taking a shower for a few days to get the full effect of this product. I must say even after day one I was amazed. This made my dry hair so incredibly soft it was crazy. I really wasn't expecting it to make that much of a difference but it really did. There are so many other ways you can use this product such as on your skin and on your nails, I am so excited to discover some new uses for this amazing product.

 

The last product I will be reviewing for you all is a Paraffin Wax & Coconut Oil Treatment by the brand Glove Treatment. On my recent trip to my nail salon I got this done so I am not familiar with what this process is all about.

Allow me to explain what is product really is, pretty much there are boots that are filled with wax. You simply place these in the microwave for a few seconds to get the wax nice and warm and then you place your feet inside of them and it's suppose to make your feet really soft. Like I mentioned earlier I got this done recently and loved the feeling of it, it was extremely relaxing and my feet were really soft afterwards.

 

 

 

Inside the box you will get the boots which are sealed up and two clips which are for you to use while doing this. This helps the bags stay in place. It says that you can reuse this up to 4 times which is kind of cool as well.

 

 

So this is what the product looks like out of the packaging, this is a picture of my feet inside of the boots. As you can see it looks a little strange lol. I must admit I was kinda scared I would mess this up because I am notorious for doing that but this time I didn't. The directions were really easy to follow. I really enjoyed doing this in my home. I thought it was a very relaxing thing to do after a long day, however afterwards I didn't think it made much of a difference to my feet. That might be also because I just got this done about a week or so ago. Also please note that this can get kinda messy so make sure that you have a towel close by you don't really want to get this wax everywhere....like I did lol oops! Overal I did like this product, I think I would recommend this mostly for relaxing!

Coastal scents! Review

 

For today's review I will be reviewing some makeup products from the brand Coastal Scents. I have heard some amazing things about this brand before, but I haven't had the chance of getting around to trying out any of their products before. The people over at Coastal Scents were super generous and let me pick out some products I wanted to try out and review for all of you today. I am super excited to share all these products with you.

 

I will be reviewing the following products for you all today:

2 eye shadow palettes

1 eyebrow palette

2 lipsticks

& 1 lip-gloss

 

Lets get on to the review!

 

For the first product I will be reviewing today I will start with the jumbo eye shadow palettes. When I think of Coastal Scents this is the first product that jumps into my head. These products have everyone talking and it made me curious to try one of these out for myself. One their site they have so many to choose from so it was a little hard in making my decision. I decided to go with the original 88 color palette. They also offer this same palette in a shimmer palette too. I decided this one would be the best for me and I am so glad that I picked this one. As you can see this palette contains ever color of the rainbow. This is a palette that would be perfect for anyone just because look how many colors are on this palette. If crazy colors isn't your thing you can always just use the more neutral colors which are also included on this palette as well. I think by using this palette the number of eye looks you can achieve are endless. I am so excited to experiment more with these.

 

This palette is amazing quality and super sturdy as well which is somrthng I was a little worried about. On the lid of this palette there is mirror, this is really helpful for when your on the go. That will be one less thing you will need to remember to bring. On each side of the palette there are those little sponge makeup brushes. I am not entirely a fan of these types of brushes so I will not be using these, but that's okay! If I ever lost my brushes it's nice to know that I would have some backup!

Here is a swatch I decided to include of some of the colors in this palette. I didn't swatch all of them (obviously) because then we would be here for ever lol. I swatched some colors that I know I would use the most. These are truly gorgeous shades this is just from applying it to my finger then rubbing it across my arm. As you can see these colors are super pigmented. A lot of these colors seem like they would be really buildable which is also really great as well. I am so excited to play around with this palette.

There are 12 different eye shadow shades in this palette. Pink is my favorite color so I'm constantly wearing it so I am totally in love with this palette. I think they did an amazing job at picking out the shades for this one. You can create so many different looks with this palette. I also love how some of the shades are shimmer, and some are matte at well. As you can see you get pretty much every shade of pink you can think of, from dark pinks to light pinks. You also get white, grey and black too which helps to making these pink shades stand out. You can have a very dramatic eye look with these shades or you can create a simple look too which is perfect. I have already used this shade twice, and both of my looks were so different.

 

 

The next item I have next is called Brow set which is a brow palette

Inside this palette it comes with 4 different eyebrow shades, along with a mirror and a dual ended brush. The eye colors in this palette are pretty versatile as well. I think the shades in this palette pretty much anyone can use these. I don't think if anyone else is like me but sometimes I like wearing darker eyebrows and other days I like having them lighter. I have blonde hair so I think I could either way with my eyebrows. I love playing around with makeup and this is going to be the perfect palette to do so.

 

 

 Here is a swatch of three of the colors, and this is just with one swipe as well. These are easily buildable as well, if you are trying to achieve more dramatic brows then this is for you, and if you want more natural brows this is for you as well.

 

I think my most favorite thing about this palette has to be the brush that is included. Most of them time when I purchase any type of palette I usually just end up tossing the brush but that isn't the case with this one. The brush include is an angled brush, which is what I use for my brows anyways. I actually lost my regular eyebrow brush the other day and ended up using this brush instead and I thought it was amazing. It totally did a great job, and now I might just end up using this as my regular brush because it's going to be a little more difficult in loosing and I love how it has a place inside this palette.

 

 

 

The next few products I will be sharing with you all are lip products, which are my favorite as far as makeup products go!

As you can see this color is a darker purple color. These are my favorite shades to wear I think it goes good with my skin tone and my eye color as well. I just love the pop of color you can create with wearing a shade like this one. I have to say the packaging for these lipsticks are pretty on point lol. I love the shininess of each one, they are truly gorgeous.

 

 

 

Up next we have another lipstick, this one is just in a different shade. This one is in the color 02

This shade is totally different then the previous one that I shared with you all. This one is a mauve pink color which is perfect for spring. This color can go with pretty much anything which is really great when pairing your looks with all your outfits. I think my favorite thing about these lipsticks are the fact that they don't have a point to them. Most lipsticks are cut on an angle which I hate because it makes it a lot more difficult to apply in my opinion. The way these are I think makes them really easy to use. They almost make me think of lip balm just a lot more pigmented.

 

 

Here are the swatches of both the colors I received. As you can see both of these colors are extremely pigmented. I also found that both colors are extremely buildable especially the lighter shade. I have to say this is probably one of the best lipstick lines I have tried. I am amazed with the color payoff and I love how these make my lips feel. They are super hydrating and make your lips feel great instead of dying them out, like a lot of lipsticks are notorious for doing. I just can't get over how inexpensive these are.

 

 

The last product I have to share with you all is a lip gloss. There lip glosses go by the name of Smacks. These come in a wide range of color so it was extremely hard to pick out the perfect color for myself sense I loved pretty much the entire line of these lol.

I decided to go with the color "Sweet Anna" which is the ultimate pink color. I have been looking everywhere for a color like this because I am in love with it. I think this color is great for so many looks and it compliments so many eye colors too. I think this is the perfect girly pink color and I am pretty obsessed with this gloss that's for sure. It has been my go to gloss sense I received this in the mail.

 

 

I have never tried any of these glosses so I was just going to assume that this was going to just have a little light pink hint of color to it. To my surprise I am so wrong! These are so pigmented, it almost reminds me of a liquid lipstick, or a lip stain. I was so shocked to see the color pay off of this product. The swatch down below is just with one swipe of the applicator. This color is extremely buildable and if you are trying to achieve a more dramatic effect, this is perfect for you. If you don't really care for wearing lip sticks, and love the look of them. Then this is also the perfect product for you. I am so beyond impressed with this lip-gloss. I will definitely be checking these out in the future.

 

 

That's it for this review! As you can see there are so many amazing products from this brand it's crazy. This isn't even all of them. They even have a lot of other  products such as concealer, foundation, brushes, blush, eye liner, and even soap! This brand is probably one of my favorites now. I am impressed with everything that I received and I highly recommend checking their site out and trying some of these things. I'm telling you, you will be in love with all of them and there is no doubt in my mind.
