FitSnack Subscription Box Review!

I have another fun subscription box review for all of you today!  I feel like subscription boxes are always my favorite to review, because you really never know what you are going to get which is pretty exciting. It's almost like it's Christmas which is awesome! The box we are going to be taking a  look at today is called FitSnack. This is a monthly subscription of food. These are more on the healthier side as well which is cool! I loveeee getting food subscriptions because it's just really convenient for me. I don't know about you guys but I seriously hate going grocery shopping. I feel like it always takes up a huge amount of my time and I also never go outside of my box and pick up different things to try which is why I love this box! I do have to say before we get started with this review I have to apolgize for not including more pictures of the items of the box. I'm not even going to lie, these snacks did not last long in my household. Between my boyfriend and I we both demolished this box within hours of opening it!LOL we just had to try everything and let me just tell you everything was pretty good.

Inside my box was:

Tickle Water in the flavor green apple- To be honest I wasn't too sure about this one. I am not a huge fan of green apple. I was really surprised with this one. This a carbonated drink. I wouldn't say it's like most that I have ever had. The flavor wasn't very strong it was really just the right about of sweetness and not overpowering at all. I really thought this was super refreshing. I will definitely be checking out this brand in the future to see what other flavor they have.

KaCookies, two flavors one in BlueBerry and one in Chocolate- These were gluten free and made with no eggs or dairy products. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate. I decided to try the berry one first. I thought these were going to taste not so great, but once again I was wrong. I loved these a lot. They had the perfect consistency and I thought they were extremely flavorful. They didn't taste much like any healthy cookie to me!

Beanitos- I have heard of these before and have always been super curious to try them. So I was glad to see that two bags were included inside this box for me! These are tortilla chips but they are made out of black beans. I will tell you that these were truly amazing! I thought these were the perfect amount of saltiness for my liking. The bag size was pretty nice as well. I was super glad that there were two of these instead of just one!

Amesty bar in Peanut butter- I got pretty excited when I seen this for a few reason. 1. I love any type of bar that's usually what my go to snack is 2. I am beyond obsessed with peanut butter. I loved the texture of this bar it wasn't hard, and it wasn't too soft either (HA that's what she said, sorry had too lol). Anyways. I thought this was pretty good as well. I think this would be a great snack that would definitely hold you over till your next meal. It was really filling.

Turkey Jerky- This was the first thing that was gone out of this box lol. As you can see it's not even in this photo because I couldn't even wait to eat it. I apologize but I don't even remember what brand it was but just know that it was great lol! 

Also included in this box they include some extra supplements, these are cool that they include these but to be honest I'm all about the food! I do have to say my boyfriend enjoyed that part of the box.

Now I know you all are probably thinking that I'm full of it, saying that everything "tasted so good". I truly am not lying though. I can totally say that I am usually a very picky eater so finding things for me isn't always the easiest. This box contained a lot of different variety, and it was things I wouldn't typically go for while grocery shopping. This box really took me out of my bubble and I loved trying new things.

PoochPerks! Subscription Box Review

For today's review I will be doing an unboxing of a monthly subscription service called PoochPerks. This is a box dedicated to your fur babies! This is a box that comes right to your door each month and it contains things your dogs will love such as toys, and treats too! This subscription box is pretty cool because it has a few ways that you can customize it just for your dog. First you can pick the size of your dog, so that the treats and toys are the perfect size for your pooch! You can also select how many dogs you have so you don't have to worry about one of your pups feeling left out from all the fun. So let's take a closer look at what's inside my PoochPerks box this month.

As you can tell from the photo below this box came pretty well wrapped. The box itself is a lot bigger in size than I was originally expected. Also the box itself is a little on the thicker side so you don't have to worry about this box getting damaged in any way. I also love how neat they packed the boxes, they really look nice which is another thing that is extremely important to me.

Wow look at all the stuff hiding inside the box. This is a lot more then I originally thought was be inside one of these boxes.

Excuse the white girl in me but oh my gosh! Look at this toy! It looks like a Starbucks coffee! I am obsessed lol. This is probably the most adorable thing I have ever seen in my life lol. I am loving this and I know that my pup will love it too. It also is super soft, and has a squeaker inside of it as well.

Next up we have a package of treats. This is by the brand Pet Chef, I have never heard of this brand before. These are pretty cool because they are an all natural treat which is nice. Sometimes I get nervous on giving my dog treats and I know I wont have to worry about these because they wont cause her any harm. The flavor of these is called "My Heart Beets For You". The ingredients for these treats is ground chicken, beets, apple and kale. All really natural ingredients. I am really excited to give these to her and see how

Next we have another dog toy, and this one is just  as adorable as the last one. This says Chewy Vuiton. I am just going to assume this is suppose to be an imitation for Louis Vuiton lol. I am obsessed with this one too. I love how adorable this is and the fact that they added the checkerboard print to it too. I have to say both of the toys are extremely soft and feel pretty durable and like they might actually be around for a while.

Next we have a product called "My Dog Nose it". This is a pretty much a sunblock for your dogs nose, and other sensitive skin areas your pup might have like their ears. I have never thought about using a product like this before, in fact I didn't even think something like even existed. I think this is something that is really important for your dogs. I know for a fact this will be put to good use just because I am always outside and so is my dog, they call it the Sunshine state for a reason.

Next up we have another treat by the brand Wet Noses. This is another brand I haven't heard of before. This is an all organic dog treat which is pretty cool. This is in the flavor Berry Blast. These look a little different then your typical dog treats. Each treat is in a bar form, so you can easily break it apart if you only want to give your pup a little taste.

Next we have another product by the same brand which is Wet Noses. This is another treat for your dog. This one is in the flavor Agave and Pear. This is another all organic treat. This treat is full of vitamin C and full of antioxidants as well. These treats also contain no eggs or dairy which is really nice because those aren't the best ingredients for dogs anyways. This is a pretty big package of these treats which is really nice too because I'm sure my dog will be loving these!

The last thing in my box is called Lick O rish Chews and these are in a strawberry flavor. I must admit I opened these up and I was amazed with the scent of them. I almost wanted to try them myself but decided to go against that because it is dog food lol. I think these are pretty cool, because its not everyday you find treats like these. In fact I don't think I have ever found any dog treat that was in a strawberry flavor before.

As you can see she couldn't wait either. I think she really enjoyed the smell of these ones too which was fun because she wouldn't stop smelling them haha. She did eat one though and I'm pretty sure she liked them :)

My overall impression of this box is really great. I think this is such a fun and creative way to bring some joy your dog. My dog was so excited when we sat down and opened this box together. Everything in this box will be put to use and it's truly worth the price. All the treats that were inside are super safe which makes me feel really happy. I am in love with this subscription and so is my pup! I think this is a great way to bond with your dog! I suggest trying it out.

Birchbox Subscription Box! Review

 

 

Birchbox has always been one of my favorite subscription services out there. I was been subscribed to them for almost one year now and each month I usually get pretty good products. Birchbox is a beauty subscription that only costs $10 a month and each month you will get a box filled with some amazing products. Today we will be having a look at what's inside my March 2016 box.

Each month the boxes are also decorated differently. It looks like the theme this month is pastel colors. This really screams Spring to me and I love the gold accents on this box. The color scheme is super pretty.

 

Here is a list of all the products I will be getting this month. I try each month to avoid looking at the card, because I love being surprised with my box....so let's ignore this for now lol.

 

The first item in my box this month is by Wilma Schumann which is brand I have never heard of before to be honest with you. This is a European skin care company. This product is a hydrating collagen eye pad. I have never tried a product like this before and I'm actually quite excited to try these out. This product claims to hydrate the skin around your eyes, and also pump the skin up as well to give you a bright and youthful look. This isn't a product I would ever buy myself so it's nice to see this inside my box. I will definitely be trying this product out asap.

 

The next product is by one of my favorite brands and that is Smashbox. I have tried a lot of products by the brand. A lot of which have come from my previous BirchBoxes in the past. I usually am a huge fan of all of their products. This is one of their new products which is their photo finish primer oil. I am beyond obsessed with primer. The fact that this one is an oil gets me immediately excited because I feel like this is going to be super hydrating for my dry skin, which will be great for me. This product seems like another hit with me.

 

The next thing included in my box this month is by the brand L'eau de Mare, this is a brand I have never heard of before. This is a hydrating shampoo. I must admit getting one of these in my boxes is something I am not really a huge fan of. I am kind of picky when it comes to my shampoo and conditioner. I have certain products that I use because I know what works best in my hair. I will however be trying this. It will come in handy for travel, and for a sample size this is a pretty good size compared to a foil packet which I hate!

 

Next we have something totally upsetting lol. We have the matching conditioner which is in a foil packet. I use way more conditioner then I do shampoo so I'm not even sure I will be able to get one full use out of this product. I will give this product a shot though. Who knows maybe this will be the best hair product I have ever tried.

 

Up next we have a product by the Balm, which is another one of my favorite brands too. I have discovered them from BirchBox as well and I love all of their lip products. The product that was included in my box this month is called stainiac, which is a lip stain. I love lip stains in gernal. I'm just going to assume that I will love this product. When I swatched this product on my hand it wasn't that dark, which is a good thing. I think this color will be buildable which is nice if you don't want to have a bold lip you will still be able to wear this product.

 

The last product that was included in my box this month is by the brand Living Proof. I would say I'm pretty familiar with this brand. I have tried a few products by them and I believe I have liked most of them. This product is called fresh cut split end mender. This definitely sounds like a product I will be using sense I have so many dead ends. I am always about  trying out new products so this product is a hit for me. This is product I would totally buy myself so I really hope this product ends up working out for me.

 

That's it for this months BirchBox. I have to say this was a pretty good box this month. I think the only product I am really not that happy with would have to be the conditioner in the foil packet. Other then that all the products seem pretty great and they are all something I would totally use which is great.

DokiDoki by Japan Crate! Subscription Review

Today's review I will be showing you another subscription box. This one is brought to you by Japan Crate, but the edition of this box is DokiDoki. They emailed me and asked me I would be interested in reviewing this box and I immediately responded with YES! I love the whole kawaii trend and I have a feeling that's what this box is going to be filled with which is super exciting for me lol. So let's get a closer look at what inside this box.

 

When I first open this box this is what I see. As you can tell these boxes are actually pretty big in size and they are packed very nicely as well. All of the products that are in these boxes are placed nicely inside instead of just being thrown in a box. They wrap everything up in tissue paper as well so it helps everything stay in place when it is shipped to your home.

 

Right on top we have the flyer that comes inside every subscription box I have received. This is where I will find all the info on the products that are included in this box. As you can see this looks just like a comic book. I love how they got creative with this part and turned it into a comic book. It truly makes this box already stand out and we haven't even gotten inside this box yet lol.

 

Underneath the flyer, this is what we are left with. As you can see this box is full! I am quite surprised with how many products I already see in this box. I am super pumped to get inside and take a look, can you tell? I've only said that about 5 times by now lol.

 

The first product that I found in my box are these adorable food picks. These are in the theme of space. As you can see there are little stars, aliens, UFO's and planets. These are adorable. I have never seen anything quite like this before. It comes with 8 picks, which is a lot! You can use these several ways such as helping you pick up smaller foods to eat, or you can simply use these are decoration when you are serving food to someone. These would be super adorable cupcake picks which Is how I think I will be using these.

 

Next up we have this blue squishy donut. This is adorable too. I has a cell phone loop on the back so if you wanted you can hang this from your phone. I must say this looks pretty realistic. I think this is super different. It is really squishy as well which makes this fun to play with too lol.

 

Next we have something similar as well. We have the same product as the one previous just a different shape. This one looks like a paw. I love this! This is perfect for any animal lover quite like myself lol. This also has a cell phone loop that hangs from it so you can attach this to your phone too. You could actually hang either of these anywhere. Both of these would really good keychains just because they are really light weight....and they would give you something to play with throughout the day lol.

 

Next we have a Kawaii notebook.  This is absolutely adorable. I have also been looking for a mini notepad like this for my purse so this will be perfect. On the front cover there is a little chicken lol. I love how random that is and it is really cute as well. I love the size of this notebook too. It's perfect for small places such as purses because it's really not going to take up a lot of space which is important as well.

 

The next thing I have in box are these sushi wrappers. At first glance I thought these were cupcake liners, but I was wrong lol. If you look at the shapes you can tell that you could use these for sushi. How ever you don't have to use these just for sushi. I think these would be great for any other snack food as well. I think these are perfect for little snacks, because afterwards you just throw it away and then you are good to go. Anything that saves me from doing dishes I am a fan of. So I really do like these lol.

 

The next two items in this box took me quite some time to understand what they were lol. Everything is in Japanese and it gets confusing, which is why I am so glad that they included a cheat sheet in this box. Just so I am not lost lol, but this item is a blind box item. I'm sure most of you are familiar with those types of things, pretty much it's a surprise. There a few different things you can get, but you wont know until its open. It looks like the little figures inside each box resemble sushi and there little key rings, pretty adorable if I do say so myself. I'm not a huge fan of sushi but one of my really good friends are so I'm sure she would really appreciate this item. That's why I decided not to open up this one for all of you.

 

The next thing in my box is this little curry kit. I had no idea what this item is either, so I had to read my handy dandy little card. This is like those little meal sets. These are super popular right now. Pretty much it's like a teeny tiny meal kit which you make the food from all the ingredients in the box. There so bizarre and there are like a million different ones such as burgers and fries and so many other. These originally got super popular in Japan and then the U.S started making them as well. I have not ever tried one of these so I am a bit excited to see how this goes. The only thing that really concerns me about this item is that it's curry! Not exactly my cup of tea lol. I will be sure to make a separate blog post on this kit so you guys can see how it turns out, so make sure you stay tuned for that!

 

The next item I have to share with you are these adorable sauce containers. These are pretty adorable and super small too. This set contains three different tiny containers along with a funnel so you don't spill anything. I'm not exactly sure on what you could store inside of these but I'm sure I will put these to use some how. There is a duck, bunny, and rabbit. I love the creativity behind these. This is definitely an item that you would not find in the U.S, which is another reason I really like this. 

 

There's still more! Lol I feel like this post is forever long and there are so many things in my box. Up next we have some pens. These are styled like little geisha dolls. These are gorgeous pens. In the pack there were two that were included. One pink one and one sea foam green colored one. I bet you will never guess which one is my favorite lol. I think these are perfect, you really cant go wrong with included a pen. I am always on the hunt for pens. These immediately made a home in my purse.

 

The next item is a set of three disposable boxes. The set included three different patterns of these boxes. You really could use these for anything. On the front of the box it shows it storing food which would be a super cute way to pack your lunch, or even your child's. Simply after you are done with your meal you could just throw everything away. which is super easy because you don't have to worry about hauling anything back home.

 

The time has come where we are now at the last thing that was included in this box. For the last item it is.......... STICKERS! lol I am obsessed with stickers and stick them pretty much anywhere so I was actually really glad to see these inside my box. As you can see these are adorable, and I love how these included two different sheets.

 

So that's it for my DokiDoki box! As you can see there was a ton of stuff that as included in this box, and all of it was awesome. It's so cool to get all these items from Japan, just because these are things you cant typically buy everyday. It's cool to have a look at some things that come from Japan.

Surprise Ride! Subscription Review

 

 

 

Today I have another review for all of you on a subscription box. The one we will be getting a closer look at today is called Surprise ride. This is a little different for my blog and I am so excited to share it all with you. This is subscription box geared towards just kids. Each month, your child will be surprised with some fun activities to do along with a snack, and they will also learn some really awesome things as well. Lets go ahead and take a peek inside this box!

 

As far as each box goes, I think you can tell from the picture this is a pretty big box as well. Which is way more exciting to open lol. As soon as I opened the box right on top was the guide for the box. As you can see this months theme is japan. I don't have kids of my own but I might as well say that I do because I babysit everyday. I decided to bring this box over to the kids that I watch and surprise them with some fun, so I will also be including pictures of how we all enjoyed ourselves with this box!

 

Something thatis really awesome about this box is instead of this box being filled with a lot of goodies, it also comes with a lot thing to help your child learn. Inside the guide this little packet was filled with fun facts and info about Italy. My kids loved this as well. I first told read this to them to help them get a better understanding about Italy and then we got into the activities.

 

There was another card that was included that contained some more interested facts about Italy, some of these I didn't even know myself. It was quite interesting to learn about Italy.

Also inside each box comes with a card that shows you everything that will be inside just in case you are a little lost lol.

 

The first small thing that was included was this Italy flag. Who would have thought something to simple and small could make a child so happy. Lol I was surprised with how much the kids I watch enjoyed this flag.

 

 

The very first activity that was included in this box is this kit called Italian architecture with charcoal. This sounded very interesting and quite different.

 

Inside this kit you are given:

An architecture book

Paper

Charcoal to draw with in different sizes

A smudge eraser

and stick used to smudge as well.

 

The whole concept behind this activity is that you are suppose to pick something from the book to draw with the charcoal and then smudge it for a shading effect just like how they look in the book.

 

The book is filled with all different architecture that is in Italy. A lot of these seem very difficult to draw lol. I love how so many different things were included in this book for the kids to draw. It really gave them some options which was nice.

 

 

The whole architecture thing didn't last long before they wanted to draw there own things, which was all good as well. Extra paper was included and they also could draw on the front and back of each paper, so nothing went to waste lol which was good.

 

 

This activity was a little messy so I took the kids outside to draw. I didn't want the mess getting everywhere, but as you can tell from the pictures, there hands got really messy which is all fun ad games with kids. The charcoal that comes with this kit is really fragile too, so make sure you tell your kids that when you do this activity. I might have forgotten to mention that lol oops! There was a lot of charcoal that was included so this wasn't a huge problem.

 

 

Here's the final product of our leaning tower of Pisa. I think they did a great job, they had so much fun with this activity and it really kept them busy for a while. I love little creativity activities like this one they are so much fun to do!

 

 

Another great thing that was included in this box was a snack! These are margheritta pizza flavored lentil chips. I took this outside with us to enjoy with the kids. I didn't think they would like these because it is something that's a little different, but to my surprise they really did like these. They were really crunchy and I thought the flavor was pretty good too.

 

There is another activity in this box. This one is for a create your own mosaic pizza! How fun does that sound!

 

Inside this kit includes:

A plastic cup

A plastic spoon

A molding tray

Mosaic tiles

Plaster mix

Plastic gloves

Plastic apron

 

The whole concept with this activity is you mix up the plaster in the cup and a little bit of water. You are then left with a dough mixture. With the dough you spread it out in the tray to make it look like pizza dough, and then you decorate it by placing all the tiles in the dough. Then you wait for it to dry and pick it out of the tray and it should be hard.

 

 

Mixing the dough and creating it, is very simple it gives you instructions in the box which is helpful. I might have messed up a little bit by adding wayyy to much water lol. Ooopsies! I fixed my mistake by adding some flour which seemed to work out well. So if you end up making the same mistake I did have no fear lol. This is what our "pizza" looked like after spreading the dough out. I think we did  a pretty great job.

 

 

Here it is! The final product. This was my favorite activity that was in the box. I love how everything you needed for this activity was included in this box, even the cup you need to mix the dough up was included which was awesome. This kit also came with gloves and an apron just incase you don't want your kids to make a mess. We skipped this step because we were outside.This was a very fun activity to make. I think the kids really did enjoy this too.

 

 

A little soccer bean bag ball was also included in this box too. I love how they went above and beyond and included small things like this. Just because after the activities are done the kids will have something to play with.

 

The last thing that was included in my surprise ride box was this month was a book. This actually a pretty awesome book too. This is from the series Magic Tree House which was one of my ultimate favorite series growing up. We ended our afternoon by reading this book, it was cool to be able to share them a little piece of my childhood with them. They really enjoyed this book as well.

 

Well that it for this months Surprise Ride Box! I am beyond amazed with this box. So many fun things were included and we really did have an amazing time with this box. The kids I watch told me they want to try these boxes out again. It's nice to have something to bound with your kids with that doesn't include electronics. This kept us busy the whole afternoon and I really enjoyed spending this time with them. I really hope to have the opportunity to review some more of these boxes.

 

I highly recommend checking these boxes out for your kids. I can assure you they will enjoy them. It will give you some great activities to enjoy together.
