ThimblePress Review!

Hi Everyone! Today I will be taking a closer look at some products from an online store called Thimble Press. I am truly blessed to have found this shop while browsing online. I am in love with so many products that are for sale on this site. They have such a wide range of products too which is pretty cool. They have products such as greeting cards, notebooks, calendars, wall décor, tote bags and so many other fun and cute things! I am really excited to get into the review. They sent me a wide range of products and I am pretty excited to share them all with you all.

I figured I would start this blog post off with a bang by reviewing the biggest item first. This is one of their tote bags that they have listed on their site. They have a few other designed listed on the website too. The design that I received is this adorable pattern with red lips. This image is printed right on to the bag, and I can tell that is was done really nicely. The image feels really secured to the bag which I know a lot of you probably have some concerns about. I love how durable this bag feels too. I must admit that this is probably one of the most sturdy bags that I own.

Retails:($22.00)

Online it says that the fabric used to make this tote is a durable cotton cloth material. In my opinion this feels a lot like canvas. So you can just imagine how thick the bag really is. The measurements for this tote bag is 20″ x 15″. I think my favorite part about this bag in general is that it is machine washable which is extremely helpful. It's hard to find bags that are in fact machine washable and this is nice! It also says online that you must only wash these totes in cold water. If you do decide to purchase one of these adorable totes for yourself make sure you follow those instructions because I a sure that will help keep the life of your bag a little longer :)

I didn't think it was too necessary for me to share this piece with you but I decided to share it anyways because of how adorable it is. This is the note that was inside my package from Thimble Press and I have to say it's way to adorable not to share with you guys.

At this time I do want to thank everyone at Thimble Press for sending me these items to review for the blog! I love everything so far including the little note that was inside. I plan on using this somewhere in my room, I love the small pop of pink color in this picture.

The next two items we will be looking at are adorable greeting cards. Each card is indivually wrapped and has its own matching envelope which is nice as well, these are on the smaller size so finding an envelope for these would probably be a huge pain, so  have no worries because it was all done for you :)

Retails:($5.00)

On the site this card is called "Florida orange blossom gold foil card". The design for this card is gorgeous as you can tell it is all white with gold foil detailing. The actual design is pretty creative. It is the shape of the state of Florida and inside the state is the state flower for Florida which is the orange blossom. I thought this was pretty appropriate considering I live in Florida.  I think that the gold details on the front looks really nice against the white card. I think it's a little on the plain side which is really nice too.

The next card we will be taking a look at has "Best Day Ever" printed on the front of it. This card is a lot different from the previous one that I shared with you all. This is more on the colorful side and I really like it. This card also comes with an envelope too. I really like how you can buy these card by themselves or if you really like a design of one you can purchase a box of 8 of them.

Retails:($4.50)

I think my favorite part about both of these cards is that the inside of each of them is blank. So you can really use both of these cards for any occasion which is cool. The fact that there is no writing in the inside also gives you the opportunity to write a longer message which is really cool too. I write pretty big so it's always hard for me to write inside cards because I always end up running out of room. I wont have to worry about that with these.

The last thing that we will be looking at is called "The original push-pop confetti". This is such a cute product and I have seen nothing quite like this before. Pretty much what this product does is once you push the top up all the confetti inside will pop out and fly around everywhere. I love the one that I received all the confetti at the top of pop is super colorful and really bright. This would be a great product for all kinds of celebrations. I think this is such a cute idea and I am sure they are a lot of fun to use. They have so many different types of these listed on their site as well, even some for a gender reveal party! That would be so adorable!

Retails:($9.00)

Overall I am impressed with the online store. All of their products are adorable and really well made. I can't pick a favorite item because I loved all the ones I received. If your looking for anything that falls into the category of adorable stuff lol. I suggest checking them out! All the products I received are really well made too which is also really important. I think this is a site you could spend hours on looking at all of their products. I am amazed with how much is really listed on this site too!

Canvas Champ Review!

Canvaschamp

For today's review I have something a little different for you all. I will be reviewing a canvas. I got a piece of art made for my boyfriend and I. I have been looking to get it blown up some way but didn't know how I would want it printed. I then discovered Canvas Champ, and thought they would be perfect for achieving this job for me.

First I will talk about this art for a minute. Sense I am a huge Disney nut I had a picture made that represents my boyfriend and I from The Little Mermaid's kiss the girl scene. This is my favorite Disney movie and favorite scene actually. I am quite impressed with how this piece of art turned out

Now let's get back into the whole reason why we are here today and that is because we are discussing the this canvas in which I got my image printed on. There are about a million ways I could have gotten this image printed fro Canvas Champ. They really do offer so many unique ways to print your images for you. I decided to go with a canvas, just because I have always wanted to get something printed on a canvas and I love the look of it. I think they always looks so nice, and it's something different to look at rather then just a plain framed picture on the wall.

I love this canvas because it is thick in size. I wasn't expecting this canvas to be this thick. I know sometimes on website or even places where you can go to get things printed such as Walgreens, they offer canvas's and they are always the thin kind. These just never look good in my opinion. I love the look of a thicker canvas because I think it looks more sturdy which is important. I have only had this canvas for a few days now and I can already tell that this is something that is going to last me for quite some time.

Another thing that really makes this canvas stand out from all the other is the texture of it. Most canvas's have a very thin layer on the canvas material and that's the only thing holding up the entire piece. That isn't the case with these canvases. This feels like it a board, with canvas material on top of it to give it the same texture as a normal canvas. This is perfect for a few reasons. The most important reason you don't have to worry about this getting damaged as much. I know one of my biggest concerns with getting a canvas was going to be that the layer on top was thin so I was worried if I ever had it off of my wall I would be able to poke a hole in it. I don't think this canvas is capable of getting any type of hole in it. It's super sturdy which is amazing!

The hardware is also included on the back of each canvas which is extremely helpful as well. I am always the worst with hanging pictures and attaching the hardware because I am always nervous I am going to mess something up lol. I can say this is awesome that they do this step for you, it really makes hanging this 10 time easier, especially if you are terrible at it like me lol.

I am 150% impressed with this canvas from Canvas Champ. I am so glad I discovered this website for my own. They make some amazing pieces, and I don't think I could have found a better quality canvas then this one. I highly recommend checking them out if you need anything printed. They have the best customer service, they have super fast shipping times, and they have high quality products! What else could you ask for? not much because they truly have it all!

Make sure you check their site out here:

A Spoonful Of Awesome! Review!

Today I have a review for all of you from a shop on Etsy by the name of A Spoonful Of Awesome.

The item that was sent to my to review is this adorable canvas with the quote  "Today is a good day to have a good day". The canvas that she sent me is a smaller one which is an 8x10. These can come in a variety of sizes and colors. I love how these are super customizable. This is great because this can be made to match any room décor you already have. This canvas has a grey and yellow color scheme which I really like. To be honest with you grey and yellow I'm not typically a huge fan of. But for some reason on this canvas I really do like it. I think the colors go pretty well together. I love how bright the yellow is, it really contrasts nicely with the grey. This canvas was painted with grey paint over the entire piece. The yellow quote is actually a decal. The decal is vinyl and in my opinion this is placed perfectly on this little canvas. At first glance I didn't even know it was a decal. I just thought that this was all painted on.
Retails:($12.95)

This canvas was done beautifully. There are no flaws whatsoever. I am impressed with the quality of this piece. I am surprised with how well the decals are attached. I have gotten a few products with vinyl stickers attached on them, but sometimes they seem not to last that long. I can easily tell that isn't the case with this product. I am super excited to add this to my home and really glad that I have this as my own :)

I highly suggest checking out this shop for yourself Im sure you would be impressed with her products just like I was :)

inkowl on Folksy! Interview :)

Terri Draws

Name: Terri sharp

Location: Leeds, UK

Age: 27

Name of shop: inkowl

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: It's quite an old name i used to use now, but it basically comes from; 1. my love of owls & 2. my love of tattoos!

How long has your shop been open: I initially opened in 2012, but i had a long hiatus and i've only recently decided to get it up & running again.

What gave you the idea about opening a folksy shop: I've always spend time drawing/ painting/ generally creating art work so i figured why not sell it as well? As cliched as it sounds, i don't do it for the money, i do it as a passion.

Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: I guess it's more of a hobby. I have a degree in graphic arts and i used to work in a tattoo studio, which is something i'd definitely like to go back to doing in the near future.

What kind of items do you sell in your shop: I sell mostly original canvas work, art prints, and the odd miscellaneous item; greeting cards, customized sneakers, that sort of thing. I'm quite heavily influenced by tattoos and tattoo art, so this is quite a common theme around my artwork.
Retails:($25.00)
Smile for the camera
Your favorite item that you sell: My art print 'smile for the camera' has created a lot of interest. I often see it floating around pinterest. It's definitely one of my favorites, it's one of the first i made which got me into the idea of selling my own art. Studying graphic arts meant a lot of the time you were drawing something for a specific reason with a certain product in mind. 'Smile for the camera' was one of the first drawing of mine which i created purely for enjoyment. Art should be about enjoyment and having fun in the process.

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: More views and orders please ;) In all seriousness, i'm aiming to put a much bigger variety of items in there. Because ive only started up again it's looking a tad empty so bare with me!

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: I have a large pile of drawings & paintings sat on my desk so i'm in the process of slowly adding these, either as art prints or some as originals, as well as more artwork in the making. I'm looking forward to creating more canvas work.

If so what:  I do a lot of tattoo flash pages so expect to see more of those popping up. & i'm currently working on some Marvel/DC comic style canvasses. I think my next project after this is going to be Disney themed. My head is full of so many ideas, but it's a shame there are only so many hours in a day.

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: I'm always open to commissions and ideas in general. I've periously taken on portrait work, including pet portraits too, so feel free to get in touch.

My favorite piece of artwork for sale in this shop is this one, i'ts called "The Wolf". This is a beautiful painting, its painted on a canvas as well. It's such a beautiful piece of art. It reminds me a lot of the Twilight movies for some reason, she did an incredible job on this piece hands down. She used acrylic paint as well.
