3. What is the price range of the items in your shop? The price range in my shop is from $15-$80, a wide range for big and small budgets.

What are the most popular gifts that you sell in your shop? The most popular gift by far in my store are my mermaid tail pendants, they can be custom made, painted, sized and decorated to anyone’s specifications. The second most popular  items are my stone pendants, which have unique and beautiful stones with mermaids wrapped around them.

How did you come up with the name of your shop: I kept it simple and straight forward and I have always wanted my name on a business so 'S W Earrings' sounded perfect.

How long has your shop been open: Only a couple of months, I am relatively new to Etsy but I can't wait to develop my skills using this site further.

What gave you the idea about opening an Etsy shop: I am a university student and have been making earrings over the holidays as a hobby, I love making them and a few friends and relatives loved them too. My friend introduced me to Etsy and from there on I started my own shop.

Is this a hobby of yours or do you do this full time?: This is my hobby, but I do study Art in University so my experience as a maker translates over to that subject.

What kind of items do you sell in your shop: All I sell at the moment are earrings, all different shapes/patterns/sizes but I would love to branch off and go into necklaces and/or bracelets

Your favorite item that you sell: My favorite item that I sell are my ladybug earrings they were the first ever earrings I made and I love them!

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: I hope to get more business because at the moment as it is very slow and I would love to gain more experience on Etsy and in my general making.

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future, If so what What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: I have started to experiment with making my own range or abstract earrings and I would like my customers to have the chance to purchase these and share them with friends and families. I also hope to make personalized earrings which would be made to order. I think they will make great gifts.

My favorite item for sale in this shop are these adorable earrings. They are super beachy which I really like, they look like they are made super nice as well!

EarthGirlTreasures On Etsy!

I received two gorgeous jewelry pieces from a shop on Etsy by the name of EarthGirlTreasures on  Etsy.

The first item that she sent me to review is this gorgeous anklet. I love how this is on the plain side, its not very full of color, so this great year round. I really do like this anklet a lot. The on thing I don't like about this is that it is a bit heavy, but I mean it kinda has to be because of the metal beads that are on it.

I love how this is double layered. One layer is a crystal bead, and the other row of beads are metal. I love the look of this anklet its very pretty. Both of these beads go beautifully together. She really did a good job at pairing these two together.

The last item she sent me for reviewing are some earrings. These are pretty basic as well. These are pretty plain and don't have a lot going on. I enjoy dangle earrings the best so I'm glad that's what these are. These are very lightweight, which is great for people like me who have sensitive ears. The bead that is on these earrings is infact a shell bead! These are really beachy and super cute, pretty perfect for the summer time!

Beemoreartistic On Etsy!

I received a beautiful hand painted post card from a shop on Etsy by the name of Beemoreartistic 

She designed this just for me!

Its a Marilyn Monroe styled little mermaid laying on the beach with a selfie stick.

This piece is gorgeous, she did an incredible job at including lots of details in this piece.

She painted this on the back of a post card which is such a cute idea.

she also covered this in layers of modpodge so it feels super durable,

I was worried that it would tear, but after looking at it, it feels like its going to

last me a while, which is awesome because I have some plans to use this piece

as decor in my house. I want to get this framed and place it in my house on one of my walls,

that's how much I truly like this piece.

All of her work is incredible.

I love how she thought of this idea and just created this piece. This shop owner

is extremely talented

Name of shop: Peace, Love, and Knotty Hemp

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: Honestly, I just felt like it fit. I went over different names and it took a little while, but I wanted something that was catchy, and fun. 95% of the jewelry I sell is made with hemp, so it seemed to fit nicely.

How long has your shop been open: I opened my Etsy shop in 2013, but I was selling for about a year or so before creating my shop.

What gave you the idea about opening an Etsy shop: I had heard a lot about the site, and I was using other places to barter and trade my jewelry, so I decided to try Etsy to see what would happen.

Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: This is full-time for me. I am also a single mother and a full-time student, so I really try to spend as much time as possible on my shop, but some weeks I have more time than others.

What kind of items do you sell in your shop: I sell handcrafted macrame jewelry, made with hemp. I offer necklaces, bracelets, anklets, watches, barefoot sandals, keychains (although currently I do not have any available). I also have wire wrapped necklaces,earrings, handmade wire statement rings, nested rings, and I have mystery bags!

Your favorite item that you sell: Honestly, I don't have a favorite. I love all of the jewelry I sell and I mainly sell one of a kind items, unless I have a custom order request for multiples of the same item. I think having a special one of a kind piece of jewelry to offer is better than busting out 500 of the same item. One of a kind items give more of a personal touch.

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: Well I currently have my own website in the works. Not sure when I will have it ready to go, but hopefully it will be coming in the following months.

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: I plan to expand the items I sell in my shop, with more handmade products. Nothing is finalized yet, but I have a ton of ideas!

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: Everything I have for sale has been handcrafted by me, and made with lots of love! I want nothing more than to have happy customers who love their purchases. It makes me insanely happy to hear of people enjoying their new stuff from my shop. I make jewelry for everyone, including children (currently children's jewelry is only available with a custom order) I think that people have this thought that hemp jewelry is only for hippies, and I strive to tear down that kind of thinking. Hemp is a sustainable product and it can make beautiful things, for everyone!

My favorite item that is for sale in this shop has got to be this beautiful hemp anklet. I love the simplicitiy of this anklet and I also love how its pink as well. I'm in love with this pink beads they have a really cool crackle effect on them, which is super unique and pretty awesome. I love this anklet and this woul be perfect for summer, to show off on the beach :)
