Custom Dog Ornament Review from TheSawdustBoutique

Today I will be sharing with you something I am pretty excited about! It is a custom ornament made from a etsy shop called  TheSawdustBoutique. This shop is pretty amazing. It is filled with tons of different items all hand made out of wood! I thought now would be the perfect opportunity to review an ornament for you! No matter what breed your dog is they can find something that looks pretty darn close to your pooch! My boyfriend and I just got our dog this past August and we wanted a ornament for our tree this year to symbolize him since he is such a huge part of our lives!

Hershey is the name of our pup, and not only do they personalize it to took like your breed of dog but they also carve your dogs name in the ornament as well which is just perfect in my opinion. This is a pretty simple ornament but I absolutely love it. I love how custom it is and I can probably bet you that nobody will have this same ornament.

The ribbon that they use to make these ornaments has dog paw prints all over it. This is truly the perfect finishing touch for this pup ornament. I think it goes with it perfectly!

I am truly so happy with how this ornament came out and I can't ask for anything more to be honest. The shop owner is also extremely nice and helpful. I received a ornament from a shop on Etsy by the name of AllAmericanaCrafts

 

The ornament I received to review is from a lace ornament. To be honest I have never seen an ornament quite like this one before and I do like this. This is a very plain and light weight ornament. This entire ornament is made out of just lace. Being so light is such a good thing when it comes to ornament. I don't know about you, but I become super annoyed when decorating the Christmas tree and ornaments start to fall off! I hate the way some heavy ornament tug on your tree and make the branches hang really low. You wont have that problem with these, just because they are literally so light!

Also if you have kids, these would be the perfect ornament for you to use on your tree. You wont have to worry about your kids taking these off the tree and dropping them on the floor and breaking them!

 

These make for the perfect ornament for a simple tree! I love how this shop makes a ton of these in different colors, and different shapes as well. These would decorate any Christmas tree beautifully and would spice It up for sure.

ShowGirlDesigns On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

 

I have 2 different items from a shop called ShowGirlDesigns to review for you today.

 

 

The first item I have to review is this adorable police officer ornament. I am abousluey in love with this. I think she did a great job at capturing a police officer's uniform and making it an ornament. This is plastic ornament which is perfect if you have kids, or if your just clumsy just like myself lol. In my opinion I love plastic ones much better, because you don't have to worry about them breaking, and when you store them away all year they don't need to be wrapped up as much.

She took royal blue sparkles and put it all on the inside of the ornament, which made it look amazing! Then she placed a vinyl deal with the Police officer badge, and for the perfect finishing touch the star in the center is gold, which make it pop when it's next to that navy blue color.

 

The last item I have to review today for you guys, is this cup! If anyone knows me you all know that I love cups, and you really can't have enough lol I may have problem! I am super excited to add this one to my collection, and I can honestly say I don't have a cup quite like this one!

 

 

I am not a huge fan of green, but now I am lol. I love the green sparkles on the cup. It's super pretty and really eye catching as well. On the front of the cup it says "Just A Small Town Girl" which immediately makes me say in my head "Living in a lonely world" lol. Anyway, back to the cup! This is super  cute cup and she did an amazing job and decorating it. I think the choice to use the white decal against the green sparkles was a great choice.

 

This cup also comes with a straw, attached the straw is a green bow, which goes perfectly with this green color scheme. I think this adds the perfect touch to this cup!

 

 

The back of the cup is plain, just the green sparkles.

I really do like this cup in general and I love how it has a handle!

 

 

The ornament would make a great gift for any police officer, or for a family who has a police officer in it. The cup would make a great gift for any friend, family, co- worker, this would be a great gift to fill with candy or other small things.

 

Overall I'm super impressed with this shop. She makes a huge variety of different products, and they are really endless. She is one of the most friendly shop owners I have spoke with, she will do whatever it takes to make her customers happy. She is extremely talented and  I am in love with this shop!

JaniceGiftsandDesign On Etsy Holiday Gift Guide Review!

I received an ornament to review for you guys from a shop on Etsy by the name of JaniceGiftsandDesign 

She sent me this gorgeous Mickey Mouse ornament for a Christmas tree to review for all of you all. This is a ceramic tile hand painted ornament.  The ornament it self is really good quality. The type of ceramic she used is super durable and doesn't feel like it's going to break easily. I'ts actually pretty thick.

As you can see from this angle this is a pretty solid ornament. The sides she hand painted red. I think that was the perfect color to choose just because all the small details, and little accents are all red as well. You can probably tell from the pictures but this tile that she used to make the ornament it really smooth and has a beautiful gloss finish to it.

This design of the actual Mickey Mouse is a vinyl decal, or sticker whichever you prefer to call it. Inside the decal is where she hand painted everything. This was really well done and super beautiful. I love how this is a pretty simple design for an ornament but it's still really cute as well. I love how she went back in and painted some smaller parts of the designs it really makes it stand out really nicely.

She painted the entire back of the ornament and attached it to a gorgeous red ribbon. I really love the shape of this ornament. It remind me of like an old school spinning top.

If you have read any of my previous blog posts, you all know that I make a big deal about packaging and how things come in the mail say a lot about that shop, and they really do. This ornament came in the mail in a small box that fit this perfectly. I was amazed by the packaging that she actually sends these out in boxes, which keeps them really protected. It came in perfect condition!

I think these would make gifts for anyone, she doesn't have this one listed in her shop yet. That just makes me think she could make pretty much anything.

I received an ornament to review from a shop on Etsy by the name of WoolWooliesShoppe 

She sent me this adorable red apple ornament that has the year  2015 on it.

I really like this ornament, its more like plush ornament and it's really cute. All off my ornaments on my tree are all really different and unique, and I can say for a fact that I don't have anything like this for my tree so it will go nicely!

There is a small bead addeed to the top to add a little pizazz which is really cute as well. This little apple sure has a lot of details in it which I was surprised by. I really like how it has a stem on the actual apple which is pretty cool.

The string she used for this ornament is a burlap, which I enjoy. It goes really well with the red apple and make it really simple.

The back of the apple ornament is really plain and doesn't have anything on it.

Which is good with me :)

Overall, I'd say I really like this ornament. These would  make great presents, because there so inexpensive and you can customize them with the date. These are really good quality!
