Lotso Ears From Make Me Minnie On Etsy!

I am so excited to be sharing this product with you all today. You all know I have a huge love for Disney and I always get extremely excited when I am given the chance to review Disney products for you all. Today we will be taking a closer look at Minnie ears from an Etsy shop called Make Me Minnie. I was lucky enough for her to send me an adorable pair of ears that I am absolutely in love with!

If any of you are familiar with Disney World, then you probably know all about Minnie Ears. They are extremely popular when visiting any of the Disney parks and most guests tend to wear them one visiting. I know when I attend Disney that ears are definitely one of my essentials for sure. I make sure I have a pair to match my outfits.

Disney World does have some that you can buy at their parks but I have never been a fan of them for a few reasons. They only have a select few to choose from and the ones that they do have I feel like everyone else wears them as well. I like standing out which is why I love these ears that she chose to send to me. I am obsessed with them. I love how different these are.

In case you couldn't tell these ears are based on a character from one of my favorite Disney movies, Toy Story. I'm sure the first picture posted in this blog post gave it away lol, Oh well! These are based on Lotso, which is truly one of my favorites! I was immediately drawn to these ears when I seen them posted on her site. I love how unique these are for sure.

I feel like lotso is one of those characters that isn't on a lot of merchandise and when I do find stuff with him on it I always tend to buy it lol. I think these ears are spot on to what he looks like for sure. He looks just like these ears doo! Even the fur on these ears looks just like his does! I am truly amazed. I love how comfortable these ears are to wear as well. I am a huge fan of ears like I said earlier but it's all about comfort for me. If they don't feel comfortable on my head then I wont wear them. I have had no issues with these at all. They are super light weight, and I can barely even feel them when I am wearing them. I have worn these a few times since I got them and I have gotten so many compliments on them too!!

Hands down one of my favorite pairs of ears that I own and that says a lot consdering I have such a huge collection of my own. I would like to thank Make me Minnie for being a part of my blog and sending me these pair of ears to share with you all. Make sure you check out her link down below and have a look at all the adorable and creative ears that she has listed in her shop!

MermaidsLove On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

I received two different types of items to review from a shop on etsy by the name of MermaidsLove

The first set of items she sent me to review for you guys is these two adorable bibs. I love these, they are super well made. The designs she chose to send are gorgeous as well. The first one is a gorgeous plum color that is a chevron print. The next one is grey bib, with white and yellow bunnies. This one is probably my favorite one :) Another great thing about these bibs she sent to me is that they are both gender neutral so you could use them with baby boys and baby girls.

Retails:($7.00)

The fabric on these are so soft! The fabric underneath is even softer its more like a fuzzy fabric, which is super comfortable and would be perfect for babies. I know a lot of babies don't like wearing bibs because the fabric is usually kind of scratchy and not very comfortable, but that isn't the case with these.

Stay tuned to the giveaway this will be some of the items you will have the chance at winning :)

The last item I have to review from this shop are these adorable Minnie Ears. As you can probably tell from the picture these are Lion King Ears! I am blown away by these. These are actually the first pair of Lion King ears that I have found to be honest, which is why I was so drawn to these in the first place. Lion King is one of my favorite movies of all time, and these ears are just adorable.

One thing I really like about these ears is that they are not flat. These are the ears that are stuffed, which are my favorite ones to be completely honest. They are super soft as well, and pretty light too I will definitely be wearing these on Saturday when I will be at the Magic Kingdom :)

Retails:($22.00)

I love the big red sequin bow that is in the center of these ears. I love how she chose red to be bow color, the red bow is perfect because the fabric on the ears has little pieces of red accents so it really makes the bow stand out more.

This is what the back of the ears look like. You can probably see that these look perfect, and yep you are correct! These were made incredibly and I am amazed by how much of a fantastic job she does with making these. To be completely honest these are the best made ears I have reviewed here on my blog. These are super sturdy and really comfortable as well.

These bibs would be the perfect gift for any expecting mother, or even a mother who has kids already :)

The ears would be perfect for any Disney lover, or for someone who has an upcoming Disney vacation planned!

MissasTreasures On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

I recieved a pair of Minnie ears from a shop on Etsy by the name of MissasTreasures

The ears that she sent me are a pair of her Haunted Mansion collection. This are the ultimate ears for this time of the year in my opinion. They have a Halloween feel to them, but then again they don't scream Halloween, which is good because you will be able to wear these several times. These ears are probably the most well made ones I have had the chance to review yet! The actual ears are plushie, and not just flat. In this aspect they are my favorite. They are actually not really heavy which was really surprising. She did an amazing job in capturing the Haunted Mansion in these ears. The colors are spot on, and I love how simple these are. She truly did an amazing job in creating these ears. The hand band part on these is actually really comfortable as well. I worse these for a while, and didn't get annoyed with these on my head. These will be perfect to wear in Disney, and I wont have to worry about loosing them or having them break either.

Retails:($20.00)

These would be the perfect gift for any Disney lover, or anyone that you know is planning to go on a Disney vacation. You can never have too many pairs of ears :)

OnceUponADreamEars On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

I received some one of a kind Minnie Mouse Ears from a shop on Etsy by the name of OnceUponADreamEars

This shop owner is truly amazing and talented. I gave her an idea on something that I wanted for my birthday and she went above and beyond my expectations for these ears. I pretty much told her something that screamed "ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!" and had lots of pink in them. I think she nailed it pretty perfectly what do you think? Lol. She covered each ear in rhinestones, there are 2 shades of pink and a really gorgeous turquoise blue. These colors work really well with each other, she also attached two  small adorable cupcakes to each ear, These match the ears perfectly and go really good with the Birthday theme.

For the bow in the center she make it out of light pink little flowers, then on top of those is small sparkley heart with a silver crown. She did an incredible job with including such small details with these ears. In the back of these ears she also included a foam crown which is the perfect finishing touch. I am absolutely in love with shop and the products that she made.

She made these on a felt covered headband so they are super comfortable to wear! Which I was worried about sense these do have a lot going on with them lol. There actually pretty light weight which is really surprising to me.

In the process of this order I also bought some more ears from her.. those will be coming soon in an upcoming blog so stay tuned.

I highly suggest checking this shop out she has tons of ears, and I'm sure you will find the perfect ones!

These ears in this shop are the perfect gift for any big Disney fan you may know
(*Hint hint to all my friends out these this is what I want for Christmas lol*)

But seriously check this shop out here:

EstellesVboutique On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide! Review!

I received two adorable pair of ears from a shop on etsy by the name of EstellesVboutique

The first pair that she sent me to review are these gorgeous ears that are inspired by Belle from Beauty and the Beast. These are gorgeous! These are my first pairs of ears that are "blinged" out!
I love how the ears are covered in yellow rhinestones, there isn't quite a lot going on with these, which I liked. They are on the more on the plain side. The rhinestones are placed perfectly and filled in really nicely.
Retails:($20.00)

In the center there is a red bow, in the center of the bow there is a rose that is covered in rhinestones. To be completely honest, when I first looked at these I thought they were inspired by Winnie the Pooh, because of the yellow and red. Once I seen the rose though, I instantly knew that these were inspired by Belle.

The next pair I received is a pair inspired by Elsa from frozen. I really like these as well! This one on the ears instead of covering the entire thing in rhinestones she made a snowflake pattern which is super creative. I like how she chose to do that instead of covering all of it up.
Retails:($20.00)

These did however arrive damaged :(
One of ears fell off, it's really not a big deal though it's a pretty simple fix. It will easily go back together once I attach some glue to it.

In the center she made a small bow out of tulle, which has a little bit of shimmer in it. For the center piece in these she placed a rhinestone snowflake which is the perfect finishing touch for these ears.

Overall I'd say I really do enjoy these ears. They are really cute ad stylish, they are also really unique as well. I find the look of all her creations to be a little different from any other on Etsy I have found. The actual ears on the headbands are lowered a little bit instead of being on the very top of the headband, which I like. The more I look at these the more I really do like them.

The headbands that these ears are attached to is really comfortable as well. I wore these around for a while and forgot about them. I haven't had the chance to wear these to Disney and I can't wait to do so!

MalifAccents On Etsy! Interview :)

Name: Kyleen

Location: Orlando, FL

Age: 22
Name of shop: MalifAccents

How'd you come up with the name of your shop:
I wanted to come up with something unique but still relatable to the products that I was selling.

How long has your shop been open:
    Since July of 2015

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop:
While visiting the WDW parks, I was never satisfied with the limited selection of ears that were sold, and they hurt your head if you wore them all day. I wanted to used my creative abilities to provide a wider selection of ears, while still making them affordable and comfortable!

Is this a hobby of yours or do you do this full time?:
I would consider it more of a part-time job. I currently attend college full time, work two part-time jobs, work an internship with a record company, AND run my etsy store! With my untraditional college schedule it is hard for my to work a normal job as often as I need to in order to support myself, so I started making ears as another source of income that I could do whenever I had spare time!

What kind of items do you sell in your shop:
Right now I offer a variety of ear designs from NFL teams, Disney characters, Halloween designs, and many others.

Your favorite item that you sell:
        Sugar Skull Halloween Mouse Ears

and a pair of UP ears that I just finished that hasn't been put up on the shop yet.
(Picture is attached)

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future:
I want to be able to continue to grow my shop and design more unique and affordable styles! I would love to collaborate with other shops ( jewelry, bows, art, etc).

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future:
If so what:
I have more designs in the works as I type this, and am working as fast as my schedule will allow to crank out new designs every week!

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop:
I want them to know that I put a lot of passion and effort into making the best product I can for my customers! I want them to be able to show off their creativity through my creativity whenever they are wearing my ears!

My favorite pair of ears that are for sale in this shop are these adorable princess ones. I just love these for a lot of reasons. I really like them because this pair of ears has all of the princesses on them which is pretty cool, I haven't seen that done before. I also really like the bow in the middle of these. It looks like its made out of tulle, and it looks like it has a little shimmer to it which is really pretty.

These ears feature: Cinderella, Belle, and Tiana on one ear, Snow White, Aurora, and Rapunzel on the other.

Each item is handmade and unique, so no two items are completely identical. Please keep in mind that fabric print may vary slightly than what is shown depending on pattern.

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: Its from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. They always say "We've got ears. Say cheers!" to celebrate when they have used all the Mousketools. And I just love Mickey so it sounded cute to me and it explains what my shop has - Ears!

How long has your shop been open: June 2015

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: I had seen so many beautiful handmade mouse ears and realized there was such a demand for them. I thought I could make some really beautiful ears with a different twist. I really try to focus on making unique designs that I have never seen before - with a few classics thrown in, of course.

WALL•E Light up - Handmade Mouse Ears -Mickey Ears
Retails:($28.50)
BB-8 - Star Wars - Handmade Mouse Ears - Mickey Ears

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: I would love for my ears to have a presence in Disney Parks and to make people smile.

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: I just want to continue to develop creative new designs and be inspired by my customers' fantastic ideas for custom orders. Just like Walt said about Disneyland - it will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.

If so what:

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: Everything in my shop is 100% designed and made by me. I design many of my own fabrics too. I take great care to make everything well-crafted and high-quality.

My favorite ears from this shop are these ones by far! When you think Walt Disney world these are the two things that come to my mind, the Disney balloons and Cinderella's castle. These ears are just gorgeous, these are the perfect to wear to Magic Kingdom. I really cant get over how gorgeous these are. You can just tell by looking at them how well made these are.

ModernMouseBoutique on Etsy! Interview :)

Name:  Angie Taylor

Location: Denver, CO

Age: 27

Name of shop: Modern Mouse Boutique

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: My shop is an affiliate with my husband, Josh, and I's website and podcast called Modern Mouse Radio. When I decided to start the shop, it was a way to co-promote and also was a no brainer since I liked the name.

How long has your shop been open: My husband and I talked about it and tried a few things at the end of 2014 but the shop really started in January 2015.

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: We saw the different mouse ears being sold at the Disney Parks and didn't find a pair that I liked because of how the style looked and the headbands Disney had were too tight for my head. My background in school is art and design so when I returned home I tried to make a pair for myself. I had painted before including doing some Disney artwork. I had previously had an Etsy shop for painted shoes and other artwork, but after deciding to try mouse ears I opted to only do those with the Modern Mouse Boutique shop.

Is this a hobby of yours or do you do this full time?:I was able to make this my full time job right away after a long discussion with my husband. We could financially support it for the first few months so if it didn't take off, I would go back to work. Luckily it worked out that Modern Mouse Boutique is my full time job. After 5 months, it was big enough that my husband was able to quit his job and the two of us now run it. He does all of the book work as well as packaging everything up and I design and make all of the headbands myself.

What kind of items do you sell in your shop: All of my items are mouse ears, the kind you might see at Walt Disney World or Disneyland. I've designed over 70 different styles created to hint at characters from different Disney films and theme park attractions, similar to that of Disney Bounding, but in just ear form.

Your favorite item that you sell: I'd never thought about it. I really enjoy many of my designs. When I'm on vacation, I'm a fan of unique looks so I've taken my Maleficent ears with me to Disneyland. Maybe I'd put that one in the category of favorites.
Retails:($24.99)

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: I'd actually like to get into doing more conventions and expos. I stated that I'm currently in Colorado but the plan within the next year is to make the move to California and to be hosting a booth at conventions like Wonder Con, Comic Con, Dapper Day, and the D23 Expo.

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: I'd like to work with other sellers to create bundled packages with my ears that may include outfits or other accessories like necklaces or bracelets, but I'm always designing new and unique ears based on the Disney Universe.

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: I started my shop making a product I wanted for myself and I hold that standard. I'm always trying to top my last product and create something of quality that I would be satisfied with when getting in the mail from an online store. I'm always posting my products on my Instagram page (@ModernMouseBoutique) so I can get an idea of what people love and don't love and what I need to change in the future to always make something better.

My favorite Minnie ears that are for sale in this shop have got to be these adorable doughnut ones! I've never seen ears quite like this before! I love how colorful these ones are, they have a lot going on but there not super busy, which I like. I also really like the sparkley blue bow that is on these ones, its really pretty. My favorite thing about these have probably got to be that this are attached on a actual headband, and inside the headband it has those small teeth that glide through your hair and let it stay on better. I bet these stay in place really nicely, this shop has some beautiful pieces I suggest checking them out!
Retails:($25.99)

GwizzyEars on Etsy! Interview :)

Name: Nicki and Zoe Gwizdak (mom & daughter)

Location: Concord, Ca

Age: 43 & 17

Name of shop: Gwizzy Ears

How we got our name: Gwizzy was a nickname that Zoe's friends gave her. We thought it was cute and original.
How long has shop been open: 1 year

What gave us the idea: Zoe came up with the idea and I thought it sounded like something fun for us to do together. We have been Disney obsessed for years so this was a way to get creative with something that we loved.

Is this a hobby: yes. I have a full time job as a Gymnastics Coach and Zoe has school and a tutor job. This is a fun hobby for us to share with each other. I love getting together and coming up with new ideas.
Items: currently we sell custom mouse ears and headbands with bows on them.

Favorite item: hmmm, that's a hard question. Every time we come up with a new ear, that one becomes my favorite. We did make a custom pair that are not in our Etsy store. We made a pair of Alice ears with her dress design on the front and the Cheshire cat on the back and they said "we're all mad here". We keep meaning to make another pair and add them to our shop. If I were to pick one from site, I'd have to say the Peter Pan ears.
Retails:($25.00)
Peter Pan Inspired Mouse Ears

In the future: I just want to keep coming up with more designs for our ears. I'd love to get more followers on our Instagram site.

Plans for future products: I have made several cross body cell phone purses that match some of our ears. I'd like to add those for sale soon. I also just made our first draw string back pack. It was super easy to make and I'd love to sell those as well.

Future customers to know: We are loving what we do! My favorite part is getting the positive reviews/feedback and seeing customer pics with our ears! Can't wait to get the new items up and see how people like them.

There are so many great ears in this shop and I had an extremely hard time picking out my favorite ones, but I decided to go with these. They are beautiful!!! I have never seen ears quite like this before. These ears have fireworks on the ears and in the middle of thee bow there is the castle. I love these, they would be perfect to wear with any Disney outfit really  because they have so many colors in them!:) and of course I love how the bow in the center of these is pink :)

BelievEars on Etsy! Interview! and Coupon Code!!!!

Name: Olivia Ritota

Location: Orlando, Florida

Age: 22

Name of shop: BelievEars

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: One day my boyfriend and I were talking about my idea to make and sell designed mouse ears. We listed a few things that reminded us of the magical place called Disney. I gave the suggestions of “magic” “pixie dust” and “believe”. That is when my boyfriend came up with the name BelievEars. However, we did not choose the name yet, we thought a bit more through out that night. The next day I decided that it was the best name we could come up with that also portrayed what I wanted in my shop. I wanted people to believe in the magic I believe these characters bring to the hearts of others. That is when I went ahead and made the Etsy shop and surprised my boyfriend with the name.

How long has your shop been open: July 2015

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: I was looking for a way to make money while still being a full time student. I also wanted to be able to incorporate something that I was passionate about and loved. That is when I decided that I should craft items, since I have always loved to craft. It took me a few days after that to come up with making the costume mouse ears. This is where I fell in love with the idea of having an Etsy shop. I am lucky enough to be able to combine my two passions and do something that I love.

Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: Currently, this is a full time business. However, I would not call this “work” what-so-ever. I am able to live my life loving what I am doing to build a savings account and help me through my college career.

What kind of items do you sell in your shop: I currently am only selling mouse ears, however, I plan on expanding my products with some scented candles and body scrubs.

Your favorite item that you sell: I am currently obsessed with the MonstEars Costume Mouse Ears that I have for sale. They are adorable and feature all of my favorite monsters!
Retails:($14.50)
Monsters Inc Inspired Mouse Ears, Disney Inspired, Character Mouse Ears, Handcrafted Mouse Ears, Cosplay Headband

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: I am hoping that my shop really takes off! My childhood dream was not to be an actress, model, or pop star. It was simply to be able to take care of myself and future family by doing something that I love. This would be a big stepping stone to that direction in my future.

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: I am always planning for the future of BelievEars.

If so what: I will always be putting out new designs of mouse ears with new character designs, some flag designs that at represented in the parks here in Orlando, and also some holiday themed designs. I am also planning on making different types of ears, currently I only offer sequin ears. I will soon be offering some fabric made ears, some will also have bows. In addition to that, as I have stated earlier, BelievEars will be opening a “spa” section that will offer some scented candles and body scrubs. I am also planning on more future products that I am going to keep a surprise.

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: I am always going to be running promotions! Keep an eye out for coupon codes on Facebook and Instagram. Also, I am currently running a giveaway on Instagram to win a pair of free ears and a few other Disney themed surprises! If you would like to participate in the giveaway I encourage you to follow the instagram @believ.ears Thank you all to those of you that have already made purchases, liked my Facebook page, and have followed the Instagram account! Your support truly means the world to me!

It was so hard choosing a favorite pair of ears from this shop. All of the ears listed in this shop are so beautiful and well designed. These Finding Nemo ones really caught my eye. I've yet to find a pair of  Finding Nemo ears, and these are just way too adorable! I love how these include a lot of characters in the movie as well. These also include Squirt, the little baby turtle which is my favorite character :)
