GlassEtchingDesigns On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

 

I received this gorgeous glass etched mason jar mug from a shop on etsy by the name of GlassEtchingDesigns On Etsy!

 

I am in love with this mason jar. First lets just be honest who doesn't love mason jars to begin with lol. They totally took it to the next level when making this mug. I know its kind of hard to see in these picture, but I included a few different angles so you could really see what this piece looks like. It is gorgeous. On the front of the mug it says let it now with small little snow flakes on it. This design is actually etched onto the glass which is pretty cool. I have never had an etched glass piece, and now I am super excited that I do!

Here's a better image of the design to give you a better idea on what it really looks like. I am going to be completely honest when I say this, pictures really don't do this item justice. It really is an amazing piece. I was also worried about receiving glass in the mail, but they really took care of that issue of mine. They packaged this up really nicely. I was super impressed when I opened it up!

 

 

The top of the lip isn't like your basic top on a mason jar cup. This one has some pretty cool cut outs which makes it pretty unique. I have never seen a top like this before. In the direct center there's a pretty big whole, which would be perfect for a straw. The designs of the cut outs also match the cup pretty perfectly. The cut outs kind of look like a snowflake, which is pretty cool.

 

 

Overall I'm highly amazed. I have been curious to try a product like this for a long time, and I lucked out with getting an incredible shop that did a great job. This shop is amazing and does amazing work as well. All their products are truly beautiful.

 

 

These would be great gifts for anyone, just because they are so versatile in what you can use these for. I plan on using mine just for decoration, it's going to be perfect with a candle inside of it.

How'd you come up with the name of your shop? I felt that the perfect name for my shop should be the name of my jewelry company.

How long has your shop been open? My shop has been opened for 4 years.

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop? The idea of opening an etsy shop had came from a former colleague.

Is this a hobby of yours or do you do this full-time? This is indeed a business. However, I have made the decided to transition into full-time, at the moment.

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: As I continue to learn and build my shop... I am in great expectation that it will flourish.

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop?I want my future... and present customers to know that the utmost care is put into making sure each piece will be a unique treasure that can be cherished. My favorite item that is listed for sale has got to be this gorgeous glass necklace. This is just gorgeous, this isn't typically something I would go for, but in this case I can't just say no to this one. Its gorgeous. This is definitely a statement piece and would be beautiful to wear with all sorts of different outfits!

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: it’s very simple, “ET” are my initials, “handmade” because everything in my shop is completely handmade by me using different artisan techniques.

How long has your shop been open: actually my Etsy shop is open since just 2 months.

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: I already had my shops on the other makers platforms, but Etsy is the biggest one so it was a must to do thing to open on Etsy.

Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: in the meantime I don’t have a lots of orders to be full time busy with, so at this moment it’s pure creativity when you have your ideas and you make them real with no hurry.

What kind of items do you sell in your shop: in my shop I sell mainly jewelry made with Murano glass pieces, that I create personally melting the glass in my little kiln or in the oxygen torch, and Sterling Silver findings. I’m very proud of my items as it’s shapes and color combs are the results of  my creativity and artistic research, the quality of materials I use is important as well.

Your favorite item that you sell: it’s difficult because they all are my babies :-) but maybe this one It was inspired by A.Grin’s novel “Scarlet Sails” that teaches to follow ours dreams.

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: I hope my shop would take off to give me the possibility to create more new different items, that it would grow to give me the satisfaction of having a lot of happy clients. So when it will grow enough I’d like to open a socially and environmentally sustainable artisan shop.

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: every item is OOAK and I don’t reply anything,  every my creation is the result of my imagination and full of love, I choose the best quality materials I’m able to find. I love my items so much that I send it wrapped very elegantly :-)

My favorite item in this shop is this pink ice cream cone necklace. It's super cute, and very unique. I cant say that I ever found an ice cream pendant made out of glass before.  This is gorgeous, I love how the ice cream looks like its dripping down the side of the cone :)
