LenoreLoves on Etsy! Interview :)


I interviewed Alaine from LenoreLoves on Etsy!



Name: Alaine Lenore Clayton (named after my grandma) 
 Location: Vacaville, CA
 
 Age: 31
 
 Name of shop: LenoreLoves 
 
How'd you come up with the name of your shop: My shop is named for the original crafty lady, my grandma, Lenore Ograin! When I was growing up my parents would send me and my sisters to Grandma Camp where we would do arts and crafts for a whole week. My grandma passed her love of crafting onto me! This shop is dedicated to her, my mom, and all the other people in my life who taught me to be crafty. 
How long has your shop been open: I started LenoreLoves in January of 2015. 
What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: I thought about opening an Etsy shop for about a year before I did it. I loved planning my kids' birthday parties, plus I loved throwing showers and parties for my friends. I spent a lot of time making decorations and favors and realized I could sell all these items! I still love planning parties, and I love that people are using items I made at their own celebrations! 
Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: this started as a hobby. I am a stay at home mom of a 3 and 5 year old. But it is quickly growing into a full time job! And I don't mind 😊
 What kind of items do you sell in your shop: I sell mostly party/wedding decorations and favors. Many of my items are glittered vases and glittered candle holders. My husband calls me The Glitter Lady! I also have ring bearer boxes, photo booth props, and bubble favors... With more to come! 
Your favorite item that you sell: My favorite items are the glittered bubble favors. They are unique and beautiful! If I were to have another wedding (wink, wink hubs 😁) I would for sure have these sparkly bubble favors for all my guests! 


Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: I am looking forward to my shop continuing to grow. I expected to have a little shop as a hobby. But LenoreLoves became something more! I'm excited to see what I come up with as we head into the holidays! 
Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: I let inspiration lead the way when it comes to my shop products. Wedding season has given me many great ideas. Halloween and Christmas are two of my favorite times of the year. I expect to find inspiration during these times for fun, new products for home and party decorations!

 What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: LenoreLoves wouldn't be possible without the support of my wonderful husband, Dave, and my two amazing boys, Owen and Wyatt. My family is my top priority and they have cheered me on from the start! Not only have I taken over the dining room table with glittered vases and such, the entire house is covered in glitter!  This shop helps me support my family and it gives me an outlet to do arts and crafts year around. Plus, I love knowing my creations are all over the country making other people's homes and events beautiful!


Her shop is perfect if your looking for any type on Wedding Décor! and everything she makes is just absolutely beautiful. For my favorite piece from her shop I chose this flower ball! Its just so beautiful and would make great décor!!
