ArtSpiritDesigns On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

 

 

I received an item from a shop on etsy by the name of ArtSpiritDesigns

 

 

She sent me this awesome personalized pendant. Yep! That's right I said personalized! I'm a huge fan of personalized items in general and when I seen this I was amazed! She let me pick an image to have it put into this pendant, so knowing me of course I picked something Disney lol. I chose my favorite scene from my favorite Disney movie. Kiss the girl for the Little Mermaid. I am absolutely in love with this piece. This is super high quality and very durable. I am truly amazed. There are no flaws, scratches or anything. The image came out perfect as well, its not blurry which I was really worried about.

 

Probably the best part of this entire piece is that you can wear it two ways. She attached a pin part, so you can simply wear this on a shirt, and she also included a small ring, in which you can put a chain through. I have already picked a chain and put it together and it is sooooo cute! I can not wait to wear this I am sooooo excited!

 

She also packaged this really nicely as well. This came really nicely wrapped in tissue paper, just to make sure it came in perfect condition, which it did, packaging to me always says a lot about a shop. Just by her packaging alone you can tell that she puts a lot of time into each piece she makes. This shop owner is truly talented.

 

These would be the perfect gift for really anyone! They are so personalized that you could make them perfect for literally anyone!

5. Who would these items in your shop be good for? (Mom, Dad, Friend, Brother, Sister ect.)- LPJ's jewelry is designed basically for females; though we have made a few custom pieces for men. Moms and grandmothers love the pendants with their children/grandchildren's names on them. Many also love having the choice to have a favorite phrase or inspirational quote stamped on them, whether the piece is for them self or for a friend. Younger girls love the monograms, sport and design characters. LPJ has also been fortunate in helping many brides throughout the years with their wedding jewelry; special pieces for their wedding party, the bride and the mothers. LPJ's jewelry is really for anyone. The customer can order right from our shop or they can contact us and we work together to create a completely one of a kind custom piece. My favorite, still to this day is a fireman's wife necklace that we made.

How'd you come up with the name of your shop: The name of my shop comes from my respect and personal connection to the natural world. All my creations integrate natural lines and textures.  It was only logical that my shop's name would show that.

How long has your shop been open: Really a year and a half. Like many people, I did open one many years ago without knowing that an Etsy shop was. Once I started focusing on my art as a business, I learnt the ins-and-outs of Etsy and opened my shop in earnest.

What gave you the idea about opening an etsy shop: Etsy is a large platform where millions of people search for unique, handmade art. I wanted to be part of this handmade movement and thought it would be a perfect fit for my own support handmade life and business philosophy.

Is this a hobby of your or do you do this full time?: This is full time. I worked for the last few years over 80 hours between a part time job and my art to grow into my passion being a fulltime position.

Your favorite item that you sell: Gemstone pendants- I love how each one is different and has its own character.

Something you want to happen to your shop in the future: I wish for my sales to be up to about 10 a month- that way I can focus on creating and listing more cool items without worrying about the financial flow.

Do you have any plans for your shop products in the future: Absolutely!

If so what: I will soon be adding removable gemstone hair accessories. Each piece will have a hand wire wrapped gemstone that can be woven into your hair. Once done, you only have to "unweave" the gemstone to be used again later. This new accessory will be a fun, funky look for anyone who loves gems!

What is something you want your future customers to know about your shop: I adore the personal connection Etsy offers. Some of my favorite parts is when the customers let me know why they are purchasing the item and then letting me know if they, or who it was for, loved it!  I also love talking to customers about the design, materials, chain length, and other aspects of my work. It is really awesome to get to know ones customers and individualizing my work for them. :D

This shop is packed with all kinds of beautiful pieces, which is why I found it rather difficult to pick my favorite. For my favorite pieces in this shop I decided to go with beautiful necklace that is called "Blue flower of life pendant" its also made from non-tarnishing aluminum, which is pretty cool in my book. I love the simplicity of this necklace, and I also love that you style this with lots of other pieces.
