CraftABooo On Etsy! Holiday Gift Guide Review!

 

 

Today I have a beanie to review for all of you from a shop on Etsy by the name of CraftABooo

 

 

She made me a custom a beanie, and of course I had to make it Disney! This is inspired by Mike Wazowski from Monster's Inc. He is probably one of my all time favorite characters and I loved how she was able to create this awesome hat. I gave her an idea on what I wanted and she succeeded! She wanted to make something new and that wasn't listed in her shop, so she let me think of something which is pretty cool. I gave her this idea one evening, and by the time I woke up she sent me a picture of the created beanie! I was amazed by how fast she was able to make this.

The front of the hat is just one big eye ball, which I think is beyond perfect. She even included his while little horns on top of his head which I found adorable as well. This is a pretty simple beanie but it is beyond perfect!

 

Her stitching technique is beyond perfect! Ever stitch she made on this hat is perfect, in the right spot, and lines up perfectly. There are absolutely no errors in this beanie at all. In fact this hat is so perfect it really does look like something you would purchase in the store.

 

 

The back of the hat is just plain green and you can also see the horns from the back as well. I love how the back is plain, it makes this beanie more on the plain side.

 

I am so amazed by the quality of this hat. I have reviewed a few beanies on my hat, but never one quite like this. I love the feel of this one. All the yarn she used to create this is extremely soft and warm. A lot of my other ones aren't as soft and are a bit itchy, but this one is perfect.

 

 

On each side of the hat she created these long braids that are blue and green. I love the contrast of these two colors together. I love how she added that to that, it really makes this hat a lot more on the fun side!

 

Ever sense I received this my boyfriend and I have been fighting over it lol. This is a really versatile hat and could be worn by either genders, which is really awesome and why this would make a great gift!

I received probably one of the coolest beanies ever from a shop on etsy by the name of LovingLoopsAndTies

She sent me this beautiful crochet beanie that she custom made just for me. This crocheted beanie is gorgeous. I can't get over how much I really enjoy this beanie. We both talked about a few ideas and she came up with this. I told her I wanted it to be Disney but I also wanted it to have a crown on it because lets just face it I am a princess lol.

This hat has a small crocheted hat on top on the beanie. It's purple and pretty cute, it kinda even looks like a witch hat to me which is super adorable. On top on the little purple hat she attached a plastic tiara, which is my favorite part of this whole beanie. The one bad thing about this hat is that the tiara is hot glued on top of the hat which makes me nervous because I don't know how well it will stay one. For now it seems really sturdy and it doesn't budge which is good. Even if it were to come off it would be a really easy fix, or I could just take it off because the little hat under the tiara is really cute too.

On each side of the hat there are two long braids. I would consider this hat to be an ear flap style. I like how on each side she braided the yarn, it really gives this beanie a really nice touch. I also really love this color scheme she chose for this hat. These two colors really go nice together, and look really girly which is exactly what I wanted in the first place.

I saved one of my favorite things about this beanie for last to share with you all. On this beanie she also included small rhinestones. These  rhinestones are placed on each pink polka dot, she even placed them on the polka dots on back of the beanie which was really awesome. I love how well these go with the tiara on the top of this beanie.

Overall I'm super impressed with this beanie. I really wasn't expecting this good of a quality of beanie. This really looks like something you would buy at a store, but it's not which really amazes me. This shop owner is super friendly and makes really wonderful products. She did a phenomenal job at creating this beanie. I haven't had the chance to really wear it besides from just trying it on because I live in Florida, where its hot all the time lol, but once it get a little cooler I will for sure be wearing this around town.

My favorite item in this shop is adorable babygirl hat. I love this hat its super cute and simple. This hat looks super soft and warm :) I also love this bright yellow color its really pretty!

TheCrochetClosetTN on Etsy!

I received an adorable beanie from a shop on Etsy by the name of TheCrochetClosetTN 

She sent me an awesome crochet hat inspired by Minnie Mouse! This hat is so adorable, and super well made. My favorite part about this is that its pink instead of red, which is really awesome. This beanie features a big "Minnie" bow one the top of the hat with white polka dots. This hat always has 2 little Minnie ears, which is kinda hard to see in this picture.

The bottom part of the hat is just pink with white polka dots. These polka dots are so perfect its unreal!

I included a zoomed in picture so you can see all the details in this. I can't even imagine how long this took her to make. I absolutely love this piece.

This beanie is considered to be an ear flap hat, so on each side of this hat there are two very long braids. The braids are made up of the three colors that are win the hat, pink, black and white. The braids add a really cute touch to this hat. 

When I first tried this hat on I was with the four year that I babysit for and she was in awe by this hat. She then began to tell me that I looked just like Anna from frozen, which I found very cute and funny lol.

Overall I'm super impressed by this hat. It's really good quality, better then you could find in any store.It's super warm and will be perfect for when it gets cold. I'm definitely going to be wearing this when its cold and when I go to Disney during these times. I love this hat!
